  2. Hi Ken Thank you for replying. I would like to build one in the future, i have built a few kits but I'm not as experienced as yourself. Sounds like fitting tender pickups are much easier than if they were on the locomotive. I will hopefully get around to building a kit from seven models soon. Scott
  3. Hi Ken Superb 2884, What was the kit like to build? I know your a very experienced builder but is it a very difficult kit to build? Scott
  4. Got this urge to start building a new 0 gauge loco

  5. Hi Ian Really enjoyed reading your layout topic from start to finish. Superb modelling its great seeing how the layout has progress from strips of wood to current progress. Look forward to seeing more pictures of this superb layout. What are the dimensions out of interest (sorry if you have posted else where on the topic might have overlooked them) Scott
  6. Looks an interesting project. Look forward to watching this progress. Scott
  7. Hi Kevin Stunning layout. Just found this topic and have read all 38 pages. I might have over looked but how big is the layout and do you have a track diagram. Really have enjoyed reading this and you have caught the feel of the 90s well, especially like your weathering on your rolling stock. Scott
  8. You got to love the HST. Huge fan of them

  14. Im amazed how much n gauge standards have moved up, the quality of the new tooling being produced is superb.

  15. Hi steve looks an interesting project. Where exactly is the location. I think measurements would be great. Shame another relic of our past is going to be demolished. Scott
  16. Hi just found this topic and read it from start, your work is fantastic and goes to prove that youngsters can model. Look forward to seeing more updates of your work. Scott
  17. Hi Howard Just found your layout topic and enjoyed reading it. I have just recently moved from 00 to 0 british outline and bought Heljan diesels and so far every loco ive bought have had problems with detail broken off and split gears on 1 of the brand new locos, which I find most annoying as they are not cheap to buy. Having been to Germany I also like german railways and seeing what's available from lenz at a price not far more than your Heljan loco you get far more for your money and the detail is of the highest qualities. Look foraward to seeing this layout progress. Scott
  18. Annoying when someone says they will keep something for you then sell it instead.

Rob d2 never had any dealings with you. If I say that I will keep something for someone then I do unless its already sold or they change their mind and sold without any issues!!!!

      Stevelewis

I can tell you sound in the Heljan 0 Diesels does add an extra dimension, brings the loco to life, can get a bit intrusive at times BUT you have the option to reduce the Volume !!
