Crikey, the number of 59s that kicked off Pathfinder's tours from Westbury and Brizzle... usually swapped out at New St. or BINT.
Just got myself a 204, are second batch available for pre-order through resellers already, I couldn't find them on RoS?
C6T.
Ive pre ordered mine from Hattons.

EWS Sound one ordered. Like 30 seconds after I seen the post 😂.
Currently considering a National Power one also, as one did come to north Wales up to Trawsfynydd on a rail tour(like I need to justify it anyway)...

My first three (of five) have turned up with all the parts in place and looking good. Very pleased. So less there be any doubts i'm an Accurafan. The EWS livery caught my eye when assembled alongside its cousins. Definitely a lighter hue. Is this like Network Rail yellow where there are 'natural' shade variations? (Genuine question)
My EWS 92 will arrive in due course, really looking forward to getting it!
In my experience, every manufacturer have their own idea of EWS maroon, from Lima's almost brown version to the three you have pictured. I suppose, looking at photos depends on many factors, like light and condition of the paintwork(dirty/clean, Fresh/aged). On models Ive found a big difference depending if the model is in gloss, satin or matt varnish too.

They look great, Jim. Definitely adds some variety when they're in a rake of yellow JNAs.
Got two of my own to make, trying to decide if Ill buy second hand bolsters or sacrifice two of the rake I have already.

Seen it mentioned here a few times, a Ivatt 2mt tank would be nice, especially a push-pull version. And LMS push-pull sets...

My speculative list of what(in my opinion) may or may not feature in Hornby's 2023 range...
Steam:
- A commemorative King class of some description.
- A new industrial shunter.
Diesel and electric:
- New liveries of the HST, Virgin, GNER, Grand Central orange stripe...
- New liveries of class 67, Jubilee 67007, TfW Black, GBRf.
- New tool industrial of some kind, Hunslet 0-4-0.
Coaches/wagons:
- Mk3s to go with the above mentioned HSTs.
- TfW black mk4s and DVT.
- New tooling mk3 sleeper.
- More MHA coalfish.
The surprising thing:
- Old tooling mk3s in RailRoad.

Transfers from @railtec-models arrived this morning, so i got stuck into the job at hand!
12106 (left) is at a more advanced stage than 12114, but will hopefully be done tonight!
Planning on doing the 7 complete wagons first, then work on the 4 that are still WIP.
The WIP 4 are awaiting the arrival of a spray can of Revell Anthracite to paint the chassis, then it's assembly and gloss ready for transfers.

Which Hunts do you have? I think they might work Ok with the earlier (smaller) magnets that had to be fitted in polarity order (North to South)
Ive used the close coupling Elite ones.
I think it's probably possible to use the ultra close variant, but all mine have been used up.

You have two options to run with Hunt couplings.
Either fit a Hunts to both PC and outer ends of the coaching set.
Or modify the Hornby magnetic coupling on the two outer trailers by cutting off the small pins that protrude either side of the coupling to enable it to couple to the Hunt on the PC.
Ive taken the second option, but found I didn't need to modify the Hornby couplers.

My FGW powercars have arrived this morning. Couple of printing sloppiness with some numbers not being 100% straight, but overall very happy. No decoders yet to run them, so they'll have to wait.
A little confused as to why they havent supplied magnetic couplers mind, but no biggie as I have plenty of Hunt couplers in stock.

Looking superb

Yet another set of 5 arrived today, and managed to fit out the chassis with bearings and suspension units and paint the hopper bodies.
The note pad has all my notes from the project, including rough drawings and dimensions.
I've also got on it a list showing variations and a list to keep track on which wagons I've painted, built and completed.

My four LNWR coaches with lights arrived the other day, and am very pleased. Looks very good behind my Webb Coal Tank.

If it's going to be a diesel, my guess is maybe a 58, which would of course go with the MGR wagons.
Steam-wise, no idea. Maybe something to suit the Chaldrons?

So a few weeks ago, I approached Steve @railtec-models for some custom transfers for these PAB wagons, and as always is the case, he's come up trumps!
https://www.railtec-models.com/showitem.php?id=8119
Three packs in total, covering all 17 PABs between them. He's even replicated the different number fonts on each wagon, which is absolutely superb.
Once these arrive, I will get the 6 I have built up decked out with these transfers, which I can't wait to do!
Alls that left to do now is the get the remaining 11 wagons printed, built and painted ready for these transfers!

Added detailing to the end of the wagon that will be on the rear of the rake.
Buffers and instanter couplings are Accurascale, the brake pipe is from the spares box, and tail lamp is a DCC Concepts lamp and Traintech gubbins.

Thanks for your prompt reply. I shall investigate further when I get my efforts further developed.
Keep up the excellent work. All the best.

No problem! Another benefit of using MJF is there is no support structure, so less clean-up.

Excellent work. I am impressed with the results. Can I ask who you are using to print your work, and with what material?
Thanks T0ny.
I'm using 3D People to print these, using Multi Jet Fusion, which I believe uses a type of nylon.

Added a battery tail lamp to 12106.
Next job is to fit the remaining walkways.

Almost a month since last update! Don't worry, the project is still very much a go.
These PABs seem to be multiplying!
Had a further 4 waiting for me when I got home from work, and didn't hesitate in getting stuck in. Got an extra chassis this time around too, so decided to combine it with the body from the second test print to create a 6th. Result!
One has also begun the process of having it's flashing tail lamp fitted, which I hope to continue working on tomorrow.

I ordered a 92 with a set of the figures in the same order, will the 92 be sent first separately or together with the figures when they become available?
Thanks
