There have been proposals with Wylfa B for a new railhead to be constructed in Rhosgoch, for both the construction and waste traffic. However, the sum given for re-instating the line by NR put paid to it, and Wylfa B itself looks like a no-go now aswell.
As nice as it would be to have the line re-open, and as good as the work by ACR to clear the line is, I'm struggling to see it re-open. The consortium that was put together to do something with the line(from the Restore Your Railways scheme) has also gone silent.

For me in terms of exclusive liveries, EWS 60500, 60081 and 60006 or 60033 in Corus livery.
Maybe the Corus pair could be a multi-pack or sold alongside each other?

@Accurascale Fran @McC Thanks for your info.
I decided to check the voltage that my controller sends out. I use the Digikeijs DR5000, and at it’s strongest point on the layout (where dropper nearest the controller is) I recorded 16.8v.
Could that voltage be enough to cause damage to the locos, or would it need to be higher/substantially higher?
Thanks,
Caz

Has confirmation this morning that a replacement 37605 is on the way. Very greatful, and happy with the service from Accurascale.
@Accurascale Fran out if curiosity, is there any one cause for the models failing or different causes?

In the last post, I said...
"Now if Bachmann produce a Central Trains class 158, I have some transfers ready for it....(I'm not re-painting that livery!!)"
They must have been listening 👀
So, another 158 job this evening, involving Bachmanns new release of Central Trains.
Within minutes of mine being out of the box, I set to work removing all of the Central Trains branding and numbers, for it to become Wales & Borders Trains' 158845.
Before --> After.
The branding was removed using a cocktail stick, rubbing the branding and numbers. Transfers provides, as with most of my projects, by Railtech.
Job's a good'n.

One of mine did exactly this, and is now being taken care of by Accurascale. I'm guessing either a PCB or motor fault, but what do I know?
As others have said, Accurascale's support has been great.

It’s certainly a jungle in the yard now, there were guys chopping it back in the neck toward shotwick last week, the yard itself is still DBI thought it was still DB.
We were accessing through the sidings at Shotwick couple of nights last week, was surprised to see the ground position lights still working. Just a shame nothing's been in there for a good number of years now.

I've been working around Dee Marsh on nights the past couple of weeks as picop, such a shame the amount of vegetation there.
Is they yard still DB or is it GBRf now?

So in the process now of sending 37605 back to Accura for exchange/repair.
Have to say, Accurascale's returns process and support has been great.

Unfortunately, one of mine has developed some poor running, with the speed being inconsistent. It sort of has little bursts of speeding up and slowing down as it runs. I know some people have has this issue with other Accura locos before now, has anyone else had a 37 do it?
Anyway, I've contacted Accura by email, and have asked for a video of what's going on.
Shame, as they're cracking locos!

Look forward to hearing how you get on.
I've done mine tonight before I went to work, with mixed results.
Both were spot on after I'd lubricated them, but after running them in multi, the lead loco developed the squeak again after a couple of laps.
The need speed matching, and its not as bad when they run singley, so I'm wondering if the lead loco pulling faster than the other is causing it.

Yes my 37043 squeaks too. I've not looked into the cause but it does seem to be one squeak per wheel rotation.
Mine sounded like the bearings either side of the worm gear were dry, so I'm in the middle of cleaning them up and re-lubricaring them to see if that'll do it.

My 602 exhibited squeaking on my rolling road running in. Video is with the Accurascale team for advice. Very fast acknowledging via chat support
Would you mind possibly posting their response here please? Would really appreciate.

My 37605 and 607 arrives safely today, and wow! They are the dog's doo-daahs.
Only query is, both mine seem to squeak as if they need lubricating, has anyone else had this?

I also used Shapeways to print the chassis with a bonus of 7mm being able to print the chassis in one piece. The body, hatches and doors were printed in PLA on Ender 3v2 printer. The walkway and ladders printed by shapeways and I also used Accurascale Oleo buffers.

Decided to buy the two DRS /6s that have come back into stock directly with Accurascale and cancel my pre-order with Hattons.
Luckily, I'm working nights, otherwise I wouldn't be able to sleep!

The Central 158s have started arriving into stock. Mine won't stay Central branded for very long.

A year and 3 months later... 🙈
Decided to do some scenic work on the layout, involving a couple of Bachmann Scenecraft buildings. The overall scene is a mash-up of Dee Marsh, Shottwick and Llandudno Junction, creating traincrew depot/loco stabling point/carriage and wagon inspection point...

Did someone mention EWS...?😉😇🙏

Been wondering when these wagons would be made, can see these being very popular. Just about fits in with my north Wales theme with the Margam-Dee Marsh workings.

I've gone for a Central 158, but I'll get re-numbered and re-branded to a Wales & Borders version. Been wanting one for a fair while too.

Apologies if this has been asked before, will the decoder and speaker be available separately to upgrade the locos later?
Thanks
