Many wagon kits were bought in the 90's for building whilst working in Germany,.. many built but still need of completion! For me the worst source of kit purchases was the the club sales stands at exhibitions so many tempting bargains!

  18. I've recently laid my hands on a well made kit of a LNER N8 locomotive. Sadly, it has no guard irons which makes look rather odd. I've tried to find suppliers, on the net, to no avail. Can any one help me please? Thanks in anticipation peter
  19. I was involved in the original dismantling of Pendennis Castle back in 2000/1 & just hope the current team are coping with my arachnid scrawl on all the parts I labelled. It would be a treat to see it again. Perhaps I could include Didcot during my next UK visit even though with my now reduced mobility I would find the walk from the car park to the shed itself a bit daunting. All said good luck with the project
  20. Ah... the tearooms Do they still make those delicious ham & tomato baps like the one I enjoyed back in 2016 whilst waiting for a train? For me Carrog is my favourite Llangollen line station & your model confirms my choice. Wel ldone
