  1. I cannot guarantee it as i don't work for Hornby but i wouldn't be surprised to see that they announce a Class 802 in the future as majority of it is similar to the Class 800. Also there will be more than one livery carried on the 802s when they are finished and introduced into service including GWR, Transpennine Express and Hull Trains. Another thing is that 800003 was one of the first IETs to visit Cornwall in 2017 along with 800004 on the same day. Making 800003 the second to visit Penzance and the first IET to leave Cornwall. Samuel.
  2. It would be nice if Bachmann annouce they would do another slight retool of the Class 150 to include a low level mechanism similar to what they are doing with other modern DMUs that they are making such as the Class 158. I would love a GWR 150/0 but I don't think that Bachmann have the tooling available for the centre coach. Also i would love the Local Lines Livery put on either/both of the Class 150 & 158 but hearing what i heard during a shop open day a couple of years ago is that it will be quite difficult to get the livery right. The problem with the livery is that the bodyside changes colours on the bodyside being darker on the bottom and lighter on the top and it is difficult to do correctly with current printing methods as there have been an attempt to get one produced by a commissionser back then. Samuel.
  3. Hi i have done some more researching on these wagons but can't seem to find a photo or video of one in the revised livery all the ones i have seem to find is the ones in original livery. So my question is did these wagons run in Cornwall with the revised livery? Thanks, Samuel

    Class 59 in 00

That National Power class 59 does looks nice but wasn't it only in that condition for only a few years and also what kind of work did they perform for them?. Samuel.
  9. Hi, I have been looking at these wagons since they were announced and looking online to see if their was any consist of the DB MMA wagons with any other livery MMA/JNAs or put in with other wagons from the DB Cargo fleet in the same train and was wondering if anybody could help me find out if they did run with others or just used on their own as the research i have done seem to suggest that these wagons only run on their own type and wonder if anybody know differently. I know that other operator have mixed their wagons so i am just wondering on the DB ones only. Thanks if you can help, Samuel.
  10. I wasn't thinking about getting another deltic as i already got one but i may get the Purple Deltic as it is unusual and i don't know that there was such a livery put on one and also to support Accurascale with this project. Also will this be the only batch to contain the purple deltic or could it be produced in the future after they have sold out from the first batch? Samuel
  11. The only criteria for the loyalty points is that you need to ask them to set up a loyalty account. Samuel.
  12. They have announced this version last week at Warley show and on Facebook to be produced with the others in the first production run.
  13. Kernow Model Rail Centre have announced another version of this warship model and it will be in BR Blue with Small Yellow Panels.
  14. If you look under the Revolution part of the forum it shows that they have announced a MMA/JNA in OO Gauge. Samuel.
  15. I am hoping to catch some East Coast and East Midlands HSTs in May of next year and hopefully someone can help me in identifying a good station to spot these two operators HSTs from also it would be nice to catch some freight trains as well. The journey would begin on Friday/Saturday either from: Bodmin Parkway Manchester Airport Gatwick Airport and it will end in Birmingham on a Sunday. Thanks if you can help, Samuel.
  16. There is an mini interesting article in the November 2018 Railway Magazine which is related to the ROG group saying that they are launching 2 further companies which will see them dealing with freight, logisitcs and passenger services. I wonder if this is the reason for buying the new locomotives.
  17. When the P class locomotive was announced I looked online to see if i could buy one within certain criteria i use when buying locomotives to make sure i don't buy to many of them. In the resulting research i found out about the trail at Wadebridge. I think it was trailled at Wadebridge first then went to Lyme Regis afterwards in the same year.
  18. It is also advertised on their website for the same price of £89.
  19. There are reports that there was actually a trial in real life of a P Class locomotive at Wadebridge to see if they could replace the Beattie Well Tanks. Samuel.
  20. Good luck with the project unfortunately i wouldn't be in for one unless you decide to make the E1R version. Samuel.
  21. The 14xx may be Hatton's version but it was made via a third party (DJ MODELS) whereas the other models were made direct with the factory. I think i seen it in a Hornby Collectors Club magazine that Hornby were going to do a brand new 14xx model but pulled out when Hattons announced theirs. Samuel.
  22. I have corrected it on my post but i think the main reason people get confused between the two of them is because they are so similar being in pullman livery. I think the reason the class 67 is lingering is because it has TTS Sound in a main range model and i suppose not much stock out there that you can use with it. Perhaps the reason that nobody wanted a Class 92 in the sleeper livery is because DJM accounced a brand new tooling with the same livery. The FGW Local Lines would be very welcome if they could do it seeing that they have managed to do a difficult livery on a Class 800. They produced a few Class 156 in RAF livery for presentation/gift when the real one was revealed. I think that it lasted for 10 months. Has there been a livery confirmed by LNER for the IEP? Samuel.
  23. I find that Bachmann announce new liveries quicker although they take longer to come out but saying that sometimes Bachmann have been slow with some liveries such as original Europhoneix on 37884 and WCRC with white lettering on 47245. Samuel.
  24. I have added some of my personal comments to your post using blue text also this is the modern ones i reckon we may see: HSTs: The Scotrail HSTs and 43002/43185 plus some other special ones such as 43163 Plymouth Livery, Bulding a Greater West Countryside 43144 Livery and 43093 Old Oak Common versions as limited editions. Other liveries they may produce is a rerun of the CrossCountry version and also the Ex GC now East Midlands power cars new livery. Class 08: As they have been doing different GWR Shunters perhaps they may do the Penzance shunter No: 08410. Class 50: I reckon they may prehaps produce a Black roof Large Logo version also they may do 50031 Hood with its Intercity Scheme. Class 60: There could be another Colas one or a GBRF one. Class 67: I reckon there could be a British Pullman one and potentially 67028 in New DB logo with branding. Class 87: Class 87002 Royal Sovereign in Caledonian Sleeper Livery and another blue version. Class 800: 800005 First British Built IEP with the special vinyl as a limited edition. Also I think that Hornby may announce the Class 802. Samuel.
  25. Thanks, i have found the image on flickr and have now bookmarked it. Thanks. Thanks.
