  1. Hi, Just a quick question, i know that the hooded versions ventured into cornwall but did the timber conversions ever venture down so far? Thanks, Samuel.
  2. You have hit the nail on the head with this post. It is really well written and i agree with what you have put within it @adb968008.
  3. It wouldn't surprise me neither if Hornby did produce 800025 but i think it would be a slower seller than the Class 66 has been.

    Class 59 in 00

A livery for Dapol to potentially produce/consider in the future now that there is a real life Class 59 carrying it. I see that there are images starting to appear on the web of the newly painted G&W Freightliner 59206. These are NOT my photos but i found on Flickr and they have been made Public: And another one of 59206 in between 59204 & 59205: Samuel.
  5. I wonder if Hornby will increase the total amount of models being make upto to 2020 which would be rather apt for the model seeing that the real version came out this year and what it is representing.
  6. The funny thing is i was in a stage of donating when your previous post appeared i am glad it has helped you go over the £7000 mark for the prize draw fundraiser.
  7. In Kernow's Latest (03/04/2020) Newsletter it says that they are on the last box of K2602 Warship Bulldog which is in BR Green with Small Yellow Panels. Just visited there website and it appears that they only got 9 left. Samuel.
  8. @43055 Looking at the list of products that are incoming from Hornby on the Rails of Sheffield list it appears that: Only 7 of the 8 GWRs ones are incoming in the next two weeks. The one that's missing is a TGS. And only 12 of the 18 CrossCountry ones are incoming in the next two weeks. The ones that are missing include a TSD, 2xTS, a TCC & 2xTGS. The differences are between what is on the Rails of Sheffield List and the list of coaches from the MK3 SD Announcement. Samuel.
  9. Rails stated on the 7th March that 6 of the Non Sliders had arrived and Kernow's Newsletter on the 6th March said they were arriving that day so the slam door versions have been out for nearly a month.
  10. It does quote on Hornby's page from the This Month at Hornby newsletter that the slam doors GWR Coaches became available during March. The information shared from Rails's of Sheffield about the Sliding door Mk3s was given in April.

    Class 59 in 00

I did see that they are doing 003 when they annouced the sound fitted versions in a future batch hopefully be able to get one when they do.
  12. Nope you can never have too many Pecketts. I wasn't going to get any Pecketts when announced as i have several small locomotives but since then I now own two pecketts which may yet increase depending on what's released.
  13. @159220 You not the only one to be fooled today as i took too long to work out that the Irish Deltic from Accurascale wasn't real. Samuel.
  14. Also i think that you can get away more with locomotives as they tend to travel further and go to different areas in real life than DMUs do. Also the DMUs usually stick to certain routes operated by the franchise that they have been leased to and don't tend to go to other regions unless they are hired in by another franchise or going to a place to be refurbished or for maintenance.

    Class 59 in 00

This is my predictions in that Dapol will make up for it in the next release with possible a 59/0 in Aggregates Industries, 59003 in GBRF and possibly 59206 or another in Freightliner G&W. We will have to wait and see what Dapol will do after Batch 1 but they have still got a few other liveries to cover. Samuel.
  16. Well done @Accurascale Fran for the Aprils fool joke. This is one that did get me, it wasn't until i seen the headcode, price and limited edition number at the end although when reading I did think that it was using a wrong number as other Deltics were in the D9 range. It took a lot longer than it should have to realise what day it was today. Samuel.
  17. I don't work for Bachmann but i overheard once in a model shop that it doesn't sound like the Local Lines element of the livery is the problem it is the graduation of the blue background livery. This would probably affect both the local lines versions of the Class 150 & 158. The Realtrack Class 143 is also wrong in the background livery as it appears to be in just a single blue livery but because of the nature of the units it doesn't appear that obvious compared to other Local Lines DMU's where you would notice the livery error more. Samuel.
  18. Hi @Mackenzie546 Kernow runned out of the first limited edition set of coaches but they still got stock off the second run of limited edition sleeper coaches. The set costs £104.99 and the code is R4868A. The day coaches are not made correctly due to the limitations of the tooling used. Samuel.
  19. Hi @mevaman1, Thank you for trying and asking about the cawoods wagon numbers for me. Samuel
  20. Perhaps the Class 20's have been omitted because they have already got enough orders from retailers that cover the production run of them a similar thing happened with the Colas 70 that disappeared from the catalogue but wasn't released/produced when the catalogue came out. Samuel.
  21. Hi @mevaman1 or someone that could help with the following questions. Does anybody know what wagon numbers did celtic energy used for this service? I see that in one of the photos on the second mevaman1 post one wagon number was 704 and another with something 38. Also Did they used the same wagons or changed every time this service was runned? Thanks for your help, Samuel.
  22. Hi Charlie, Thanks for saying what versions you are doing hopefully i will get one of each livery dependant on other things when these are released but i will definitely get 143612 Local Lines version as it visited Penzance in this livery. Just need to work out which one to get in GWR Green livery as i have seen 3 different units mostly 143621in real life but haven't seen the ones your doing in real life. Thanks, Samuel.
  23. Hi @charliepetty, Liveries for Class 143: First Great Western Local Lines Livery. 143621 in GWR Green. Thanks, Samuel.
  24. Hi @BritishRail60062, The Caledonian Sleeper Class 87 was announced in the 2019 rangeand it's product code is R3751. Only my view but if Hornby announce a GBRF Class 60 it will probably be 60095 as it was the 1st one in the Livery and Unsure if the Blue 60026 will be in this annoucement due to it being released from the paint shop in the second half of this year. Also I would off sought it be very unlikely that Hornby will announce a DC Rail one this quick after release from the Paint Shop but again if they did it would be probably be 60046. Samuel.
