  1. There is already another thread started on these over on the Rails of Sheffield Product Page on RMweb.
  2. If you started offering the choice of numbers to people the company wouldn't be able to use the same numbers that are choosen unless it is stated (By product code) when the company wants another batch in the future which means that you constain the company to one batch production with potentially more options but less made overall comparing to having a batch with some numbers then another batch in the future with the other numbers. It would also affect the amount of units made due to people only being able to afford certain amount/numbered models at a particular time unless a company wants to kept a certain level of stock.

  5. Thanks @Simon Bendall. Thanks very much @Steadfast for producing the whole list of the wagons used on the sand train. It is very useful information and now i know which ones i've seen to the ones that are in use for this traffic. Samuel.
  6. Hi @Steadfast, I don't suppose you would know what the wagon numbers are for this traffic? Thanks, Samuel.
  7. Hi @AY Mod, The GWR Class 158 is looking very good indeed I don't suppose you know what's on the other destination blind and also the destinatons on the blue/grey Class 121 i think one of them could be Par. Also the low floor mechanism in the class 158 makes a lot of difference to how it looks it would be nice if Bachmann could do a similar thing to their Class 150 to incorparate a low floor mechanism on par with the Class 158 before they produce the models announced. Thanks, Samuel.
  8. Thanks. It's good a few pictures are still available on Flickr but they to seem to have deleted some of them. Samuel.
  9. The CAD is looking very impressive with several differerent individual parts and this is just the DT this is going to be a special set of coaches. Samuel.
  10. I thought that i seen a version online before but while you could light up the cluster it won't be up to nowadays functionally of them.
  11. Perhaps the reason why it is the most popular is because as far as i know there hasn't been any manufacturer produced the purple version with full working lights and with correct tooling. Samuel.
  12. Hopefully they kept learning and improve this side of things. Although it has improved there seems to be still a few mistakes to learn from in there latest one for instance there was a slightly wrong announcement in the beginning of the video saying Network Rail instead of Northern Class 156 also in the running shots of the 156 they connected the two cars the wrong way.
  13. Can someone help with the two questions i put up several weeks ago? Thanks if somebody could help.
  14. I can't answer the DCC Side but I seem to recall that the Class 66 will be arriving in batches and not all in one go.

    Class 59 in 00

No the ones that DB are selling is seperate from the Mendip ones being purchased by Freighliner as part of the contract they won. The Mendip ones are the /0 & /1 Variants. The DB Class 59 are seperate and are the /2 Variants. These locomotives were originally the National Power ones which EWS brought then DB purchased EWS. Samuel.
  16. In Kernow's weekly newsletter dated 28th June and on their Facebook page they announced a new limited edition weathered triple pack of clay hoods with flat hoods. The Product code is 33-080T and priced at £54.95. Product Webpage: http://www.kernowmodelrailcentre.com/p/65591/33-080T-Bachmann-China-Clay-Wagon-in-BR-Bauxite-livery-with-flat
  17. Expect for the Tail light fitted ones the Kernow Exclusives are/will be the same price as the other wagons now that the only place you can order the others are at the retailers.
  18. Is that for Cornwall Clay Traffic or another region? Thanks, Samuel.
  19. Hi Accurascale, I have been searching online to see if these wagons runned in Cornwall and discovered the following picture on Flickr (Not Mine) and wanting to know if this is a different type of wagon to the one you are producing: Also does anyone know what else the wagons may of been used for in Cornwall? I know they were used for a short time on Coal to Falmouth Docks but any info is welcome if anybody got it. Thanks, Samuel.

  21. Hi, I meant off come back to you sooner to ask if you or someone else could help me by answering a few questions: How long was these short coaches used on the Padstow/ NCR line? Also when did the version Bachmann is producing appear on the Padstow/ NCR Line and how long for? Thanks, Samuel.
  22. On their website it states that it will be a standard Heljan 33/1 model.
  23. You may want to look at the price again as it have gone upto £189.95 but then again Bachmann have put the prices up on the other 47s.
  24. Hopefully Revolution will consider releasing a VTG Blue version in the future as i have seen this variant of the JNA wagon on the national network carrying sand. It would be a bigger bonus if they release a model with a number of the real one i seen but i know this could be unlikely as there where only 8 being used at the time. Samuel.
  25. Hi, i have been looking for more information on the Bulleid shortie coaches but can't seem to find out what i am looking for i am hoping you can help me as you are modelling a part of the North Cornwall Railway. When did these coaches run to Padstow/ North Cornwall Railway and what services were they being used for? Also you mention that these are more correct for Padstow than Bachmann 64 coaches can you briefly explain why? Thanks if you can help, Samuel.
