  1. Thanks GDB - Bear can do that 😀 Now then, how do I do half an egg.....🤔.....Puppeeeeerzzzz........ ION..... I *think* Bear has FINALLY sorted the documentation to accompany the Beary Will (so Lifebook, Useful Notes for Executors, Expression of Wishes Document, House Notes and Notes for A.N. Other); I could carry on fine-tuning until Doomsday - but at some point I really do need to say "good enough" so I can print off hard copies for storage with the relevant people and in relevant places - there's no point keeping on & on forever cos' all the work will be of no use whatsoever if the files are buried on a Lappy hard drive..... Huge, Huge Tick Awarded - but no cake cos' the SCR is still empty 😢 BG
  2. Oh yes - the time taken between that first and second "deliberately aimed single shot" might just be enough for the target to shoot back - and it's not the Lawyer on the receiving end.
  3. Now that looks like something a Bear could like - is it complicated?
  4. ION.... The Orange One has been fined $9K for opening his big gob - with more offences still to consider; the Judge has now threatened him with a spell in Chokey if he continues. Oh pleeeeeese, Oh Gobby One - do it again.....
  5. And now it seems the B'sterd is getting Hospital treatment courtesy of the NHS cos' "he hurt himself when he crashed his van" 🤬. I bet he didn't have to wait six hours in A&E before being seen either..... Oh yes, that definitely is a Rant.
  6. Bear had a security question for a website that I occasionally had to type in: Site: "What is your Father's First Name?" Bear: "B*rstard" Worked a treat for a long time. But then Bear had to call the Company to resolve an issue..... Company Lady: "I'll just take you thru' Security, Mr Bear....." Company Lady: "Father's First Name?" Bear: [Thinking "Oh Sh1t"] "Er, have you got the answer on your screen?" Company Lady Says: "Yes, Mr. Bear...." somewhat tersely..... Company Lady then Says: "You can spell it if you like......" 🤣
  7. Fraid' not Chimpy - you've just disclosed your password to the fine upstanding citizens of ER'ers....
  8. More's the pity in this Bear's Book - we'll now be saddled with forking out £££ for a trial plus a Hotel Room for the scrote (other words are available) for the next 30 years. 🤬
  9. Along with that other bunch of well-known Parasites, the 'uman rites lawyers.🤬
  10. Bear here..... A couple of hours this morning "helping out" - there was a Charity Donation Session next to the local Library in Bearsville (basically the Charity come along with a Van and the Public come along with their donations, instead of taking them to a shop or the Warehouse); Bear was press-ganged (ok, so there may have been the promise of an incoming Donut...) into helping out as it's only a few minute's walk from Bear Towers. Not the best result though - maybe 70-ish donations, which is somewhat light; you never can tell though - there may be Gold in there somewhere, or it could all be total cr@p that's worthless and costs money to dispose of. Din dins has been done so now Bear will attempt to get that bluddy Will documentation finished at long last..... ION...... The Window Cleaner has been & gone - he used one of those extending brush jobbies rather than a ladder. Beary opinion? "It'll do" - I far prefer the results obtained the old way though, but such people seem to be a dying breed, sadly - they all want to do it the quick n' easy way without the risk of ladders etc. Time taken: 3m 30s for seven quid. BG
  11. Sounds to this Bear like a diversion to the bed testing department is called for.
  12. That means you're now being tracked by MI5 & 6 for talking about them.....
  13. In the news today: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-68925453 I very much suspect that if you removed routine gun carrying by US Police Officers they'd all walk away from the job and you'd have anarchy PDQ.
  14. Bear here..... Today sees Bear gettin' mixed up with a mission to "help out" (more later); meanwhile Bear Towers is due to receive it's first visit from the new Window Cleaner - he came recommended so hopefully all will be well. And if I get my little furry ar5s in gear I should finish off that bluddy Will paperwork. BG
  15. Let's see now.... TV Internet content Video Games Drugs Parents gradually getting softer with kids with each generation (actually I think this is probably one of the biggest causes). "Do -gooders" limiting what Teachers, Police etc. can do. That'll do for starters
  16. Oh, I dunno......I reckon a few thousand Clone Bears patrolling the streets would do wonders for law n' order in the UK.
  17. An unhinged Hippo with a Blunderbus. Run.
  18. You could be onto something there......His & Hers Apartments, with an interconnecting door. iD @iL Dottore could then have the Kitchen of his dreams........ ION..... Fancy ballasting this? Or cleaning the track? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c1wx31x1yljo
  19. Would a Bear need a Licence for one of those? Just askin' for a friend......
  20. Sounds to this Bear that a different Apartment is required.
  21. Bear here..... Got some more Beary Will stuff done - it looks like three of the five documents I've been preparing are complete, so that's a Tick. It's one of those jobs where you could keep "fine tuning" until Doomsday - at some point you just have to say "right, that'll do". Post din dins meant Harry the Honda time; the zorsts are now refitted along with the shiny new silencers - and without the use of any naughty words either, so that's a Big Tick. I'm sure that just running it with open downpipes and no silencers would be more fun though. BG
  22. I've not seen any arguing whatsoever, only sensible discussion; sure, there are different opinions but isn't that what makes it interesting? I suspect a Taser would've increased the risk to the Officer considerably - as well as to the general public if she'd been shot in the process. I suspect fellow ER'ers won't be surprised that Bear is quite happy that, giving what the shooter did (killed six people - with another two in ITU) I'm quite happy that he was stopped in such a way. That was lucky. edit: Oh, hang on.....maybe not..... When Bear was in Kuwait the local Police came into the Hotel Restaurant as they'd heard some big noise Footie Team were staying there and they were hoping to get their Autographs and some selfies. However, the member of Hotel Staff at the entrance desk to the Restaurant said no, you can't come in carrying those guns. So what did they do? Yep, left the Guns on the desk and went selfie hunting...... That's a common one on vacuum cleaners as well.
  23. Google suggests the range of a Taser x2 is 25ft with a two shot capability (others are 21ft & single shot). Not sure I'd want to be that close to someone holding a gun, or multiple scrotes. A nutcase Student with a gun perhaps?
  24. Bear has visited numerous countries - most, if not all outside the UK featured Plod carrying guns. Did it phase me? Not one bit - it meant I respected them more (something that's sadly long-gone in the UK). Did it worry me? Nope - I wasn't doing anything wrong. It's very difficult to engage with the Plod in the UK in any way now - they're always in Cars; you might get to see PCSO's on the beat in town though. As for the criminal element tooling up - many already are, along with schoolkids (knives) in some areas. About the only Country I would feel uneasy around armed Plod would be the USA - far too trigger happy; in fairness in many areas they probably have to be in order to stay alive. I would send it in too - but after a fair few weeks (especially if it was on a regular route of mine) just in case they also have a Cam; they could look up my details/registration etc. and might just get 'umpy enough to try and get back at me. By waiting a few weeks it's much more likely the data will be deleted/over-written.
  25. A few brum brums at the Coal Drops Yard yesterday:
