Bear here…. Paperwork “progressing”…… After Bear’s early morning antics I decided that Pizza & CF was fully justified 😇 It’s currently Pitstop time, then the 2nd ascent of Kilimanjaro en-route back to Bear Towers. ION….. The Driver this morning had a Prezzie for Bear, courtesy of the Manageress….I now have my very own, nice new shiny jacket complete with sign-written (ok, embroidered) Charity Logo on it 😁. Big Tick. Right, time to wander…. BG

Now Bear might be being overly cynical here (no doubt iD will correct me if I’m wrong) but don’t the Docs get paid (by the Drug Manufacturer?) for every patient signed up?

Bear occasionally ponders with the idea of moving - there certainly are attractions to the idea. However, the few people I do know well are either in Bear Ave. or in the nearby general area, so if I did move very far then I'd lose that aspect of my life (or it'd make contact/seeing them/giving & receiving support more difficult) which, as a solo Bear gets more & more important with age. Now if I had a Polina in tow then things might be different.....

Anything bigger than a Bear's Shed counts.

Bear here..... Up at a very silly time known as 0345am 😱 for a special mission..... Bear had been asked** to go on a Van delivery run with the Hospice to the Coal Drops at Kings Cross of all places; there's a big "do" up there this weekend (a Vintage Car Boot event plus numerous Charities selling donated Vintage items). We were there by 0630 - and unloaded and gone by around 0730, so that's a Tick. I did take a photo of one of the (two?) Gasometers there - apparently it's been converted to Apartments: (That's not our Van, incidentally - ours is MUCH bigger - and it's got a tail lift to play with.....😁) Wonder if they smell of Gas? Bear is now back at Bear Castle; a cheeky slice of T & M has been scoffed (it could quite easily have been rather more if it wasn't for the bluddy D word 😒). First mission is make the Bear Pit, followed by MIUABGA - the weather is less than sunny so the chances of getting the exhaust system fitted to Harry isn't looking good (Bear hasn't got a Garage - have I mentioned that?) BG **It seems that the Warehouse Manageress considers Bear to be "reliable". Just don't go spreadin' it about ferchrissakes - Bear has a reputation to protect....

Anti-English perhaps? Oh, it is.....you just haven't been told about it yet. Be scared......

Bear keeps his commercial quality Bread in the fridge - it takes a while to use a loaf and I never have issues with mould.

It looks as though mice have had a nibble at the 4 o'clock position; Bear was a little dismayed to note the sticky goo didn't extend down the sides as well....or would have been if it wasn't coffee flavour....🤢

I imagine that if you'd had to bang out then the subsequent conversation at the BOI would've been "interesting" and probably somewhat career limiting A dastardly trick I might add.

Bear must add the following to the Beary Bucket List: "Scoff Toast & Marmite until you don't want any more" - as it always seems to run out far too quickly 😢

Bear here.... Postie delivered the promised parcel as intended - 4L of Oil for Harry the Honda; their email basically told me it could arrive any time before 7-30pm meant any hope of a Hilly Wander & Pit stop for Bear went out the window; I could still go for the wander but as the pit crew have foxtrotted off I've decided to abort any ideas of that. I did get to saw two exhaust pipes in half though - a careful inspection & measure of the old bits & new silencers suggested that an existing weld line was a rather good place to cut, as anything rearwards of that line would be too large a diameter to fit inside the new silencers. I can always cut a bit more off as required, should the need arise. More work on the documents that'll accompany the Beary Will, such Expression of Wishes and also "Useful Notes for my Executors" etc; I'm now at the "fine tuning" stage so nearly there. BG

Bear was once in an RN Lynx 8 that came over the fence at Boscombe Down with the Low Fuel Warning Lamp illuminated on the Central Warning Panel...... Of course we had much better options available than those flying a Tornado.

Bear here..... Missions "ongoing" - which has FINALLY included writing out a new info strip to go inside my SOS Talisman Bracelet; I checked the Passport Number written on the existing strip and discovered it was for the old Passport.....and the current Passport expires next year..... Right, the Washing Machine is bleeping at Bear so it looks like I've got some "stuff" to hang out. Bear gone.

.....and a Certain Bear was otherwise engaged in a Warehouse. What a dastardly trick.....next time I think @Dave Hunt should submit a Birthday Form for Big H's and Bear's approval so we can make sure we're not otherwise engaged.

Maybe why that's why the store is deserted - cr@p service?
