  1. Hi, I’ve installed an ESU Loksound v5 from a Bachmann sound fitted peak, so their factory sound profile. It’s decent enough with some good functions, but I can’t get the lighting features on the Heljan peak to work. Directional marker lights are fine, but no tails or cabs. Does anybody know how modify the decoder settings to work the Heljan lighting correctly?
  2. Like a kid at Christmas opening the box today... Brilliant model, high quality packaging, my first Accurascale product but with a Deltic on order won’t be my last. Simply lovely!
  3. Another vote for sealed beam 46 as a future release... ideally with Ixion RTC embellishments!
  4. Thanks for the info Barnaby! I was at the Pontefract MRE today and tried out the ACE on the Digitrains stand. I really like it. Good to hear the developments are in the pipeline.
  5. I’m seriously considering the ACE. I want to move away from the clunk-click Hornby elite, it compromises the pleasure of using sound fitted locos, which I’ve gradually moved towards since I bought it. Any news on the v4 functionalities described earlier in the thread? I would really like to be able to connect a fully functioning additional throttle.
  6. Great, thanks for the reply Fran. Will watch with interest!
  7. Hello Fran/Accurascale team, Apologies if this has been asked, I’ve scanned the thread but couldn’t see it... The Deltic I would like, KOYLI in 81/82 condition, is one of the Rails issue, but I really want your ESU V5 sound project. I know you will be putting lots of effort into making it great and the spec sounds impressive, plus competitive price differential for sound versions. How can I order a Rails issue deltic with your sound package? Thanks, Rob
  8. Have you provided this feedback to Bachmann? Or will they see it on here? Or what’s the best way to let them know? Forgive the questions as an occasional user of the forum, just seems a shame if they can’t correct their choice of unit (or confirm they are tooling it differently) given it will be months (maybe years!) before we see it released. I really want an original provincial 150 and would like it to be accurate!
  9. Wouldn’t it be great if one of these two announced one. Loads of detail variations, white stripes, Tinsley names... not to mention 45106 in railtour green. Would create a nice long deltic-like list to choose from!
  10. Nice work! Taking back the heavy brown on the data panel looks good, as though it’s been wiped with a dirty rag.
  11. Hi Callum, I’d really like some of the Wipac light clusters but when I click on the link it says not for sale. Will you be making some more available? Cheers!
  12. Not sure either but certainly of interest if/when you do part with them!
  13. Inspired by this thread and others on improving the Lima Mk2b, I thought I’d share my Transpennine 2b TSO. Lima body on Bachmann chassis, body trimmed and door bumpers added as per suggestions on this site. Transfers, handrails and destination labels added too, plus painted interior. I think it’s a big improvement but ideally still needs the paint mould line removing and a full respray; perhaps one for the future. Flush glazing is South Eastern, so not the best, but better than the Lima glazing. Looks good in an otherwise Bachmann rake of blue and grey/model rail transpennine special editions.
