  1. No, any manufacturers' images used on stockists websites are provided by the manufacturers for that purpose; not to help yourself to. There is no difference, all material has a creator or owner. Offering to remove something does not exonerate you. 'fair use' is a oft-wafted fallacy by those who think they know something whereas it has specific meaning - spend some time looking into it rather than using it incorrectly. Any material, text or images, is automatically the copyright of the creator or owner and it's the same as helping yourself to something that isn't yours. Your call but I don't like martyrs trying to make out they're hard done by when they do something they've already been told not to do.
  2. On the basis that you're not doing it wholly Kernowish it means you're an outcast from Table 1.
  3. We can keep it to two tables Table 1 - Side crimped + Jam first* Table 2 - Rest of the World *I'm with you lot.
  4. He can include some 'Mind your head' and 'Mind the enormous gap as we go round the bends' warning signs.
  5. It honestly didn't look like there was any depth there in the original picture.
  6. I note that images are regularly copied, edited and re-used with a 'will remove if required'. It's not on, it's breach of copyright as I'd bet you never sought consent beforehand. I've used your appropriation of one of my images to do this and ask you never to post the images you have stolen from anyone on RMweb at any time. Do it again with one of mine and you'll be getting an invoice or legal action.
  7. Please do not copy, edit and re-use my copyright images from the magazine. It is a 2-page review too. Not impressed at all with your post on those two counts.
  8. Being honest, SK doesn't really like forums. Why that's felt to be worse than comments on their own social media channels I know not.
  9. That's why there's two long tables in the posh dining area; it's not about capacity, it's about separating pasty and scone factions.
  10. Should have pointed them to the bloke at the end and said "Have a word with him, he sold it."
  11. And to tell everyone else that they are. They'd be heartbroken to know that the majority of people don't care about their perspective and they're unlikely to actually bring anyone down to their level of gloom (as it's not just this topic) but the problem is that, like seagulls at the council tip, they never fly alone.
  12. Because of the sentence that followed. layouts don't have to have stations or lots of trains to be good. The production team have obviously gone to a lot of effort and travelled the country for good content and showing a wider context; maybe they shouldn't have bothered.
  13. It's evident that several posters in this topic haven't been following the build of the project on here over the last few years (or buy BRM). The programme did explain the motivations behind it. You're quite dismissive of it without reliasing quite how good the actual modelling is. I think you may be mixing Heaton Lodge up with Pete's 'Making Tracks'. many of the locos for Heaton Lodge are Heljan (Hornby don't do O) and although PW is opening Heaton Lodge's first show has had enough on his plate with his project.
  14. I have spoken to a couple of exhibition managers (not this event, I've just chosen it as the most recent of the numerous topics where you are copy and pasting the same question) who are wondering what your motives are. Are you representing a club, society or event or closely linked to one? If so a little more openness would probably give you a better response. If not, they're wondering who you are, why you need to know and what you're going to be doing with any information. After all, such information and their bearing on club finances are very much their business.
  15. Exhibition managers may be more prepared to share such information in the private forum area referenced in the OP.
  16. As the topic title asks for something different from what the OP says he wants to know and the inevitable confusion I'm locking the topic off.
  17. That may confuse some of the investigation into the problem but I have asked the office to investigate.
  18. Another user sent me a note yesterday on this too. It may relate to a comment which has been subsequently deleted by the user. Could you go to the notification, right click, and paste the link address in here please so I can investigate further.
  19. He's finally got the hang of it then?
  20. He'll be back on fishing trolleys out of the cut in the morning.
  21. It's about the prototype railway, in the UK and it's a question. Guess where I've moved it to?
  22. And this isn't the right place either, I've moved your previous post to the correct area. In future please use the report function to report a topic rather than creating duplicates.
  23. Do you use the same email address for RMweb as you used when you signed up for WoR+ ? I'll get onto the office for them to investigate in the morning as I don't have remote access to the subs and billing systems.
