  1. The journos were filmed for a full day and didn't make the grade. As Phil and I were wearing BRM shirts as we were doing our own filming we'd have probably had to have been pixellated out, maybe a good thing. Anyway we had our own problems to contend with. RMweb itself did actually slip into the programme for a few seconds.
  2. If you open one of your streams you should see 3 icons to the right of the stream name, the middle one is a bin.
  3. I said it to flatten an incorrect speculation, that's why.
  4. The topic will close by 21.00 and re-open after 22.00
  5. Nothing has instructions anymore, apparently box-opening videos are considered sufficient.
  6. For once it's not NFN. We believe it's down to the indexing so we've just got to let it run a while. I hope it's not the new norm too, the nag screens about the update in the Admin area were a nuisance and I don't want to have this indexing issue every few weeks.
  7. The galleries are currently hidden awaiting some bug fixes. They will return soon (in a slightly different form).
  8. A software version update (which included security updates)has been carried out. Part of the process means that the software has to re-index the content again. This means you may see no or limited results in the Activity Streams until it rebuilds. Based on the last time this happened it could take 2/3 days for that process to complete. Generally, the responsiveness seems to be slow but we are looking at the issue.
  9. New Bachmann Collectors Club Limited Edition Ready for Duty. The latest limited edition model to be produced exclusively for Bachmann Collectors Club members is the N Scale Class 08 Diesel Shunter as No. 878 ‘Basra’ in Longmoor Military Railway livery (371-020K). The model is priced at £109.95 and just 504 have been produced, each is supplied with a certificate of authenticity. The real locomotive was delivered new to the LMR from Derby Works in 1945 as War Department No. 70272. It later gained the number 878 and was named ‘Basra’, carrying the iconic blue and red livery of the LMR. When the Longmoor Military Railway closed in 1969, ‘Basra’ was transferred to the Ministry of Defence site at Bicester and was renumbered to AD601. After spells at Bicester, Shoeburyness, Welford Park and Thatcham, the locomotive was eventually sold to the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway in 1980 where it survives in preservation. The Bachmann Collectors Club produces a range of limited edition models, which are available exclusively to Club Members, and the latest model was launched in the Spring 2019 Bachmann Times – the official quarterly magazine of the Bachmann Collectors Club. For further details visit www.bachmann-collectorsclub.co.uk. This latest release is based on the popular Graham Farish Class 08 Diesel Shunter and features a highly detailed body with numerous separately fitted detail parts. The chassis incorporates NEM coupling pockets and an accessory pack is included with additional bufferbeam detailing parts. ‘Basra’ joins a growing number of LMR-themed models from Graham Farish, with the Longmoor Military Railway Train Pack that was produced in 2015 now highly sought after and the WD 2-8-0 No. 79250 ‘Major-General McMullen’ (372-429) due for release later this year.
  10. No; your comment was removed because you were insulting. Don't try and paint yourself as a hard done by martyr.
  11. We are not accepting applications for moderators at present.
  12. We should remind them of this benefit. During such times we are not adding to their workload (nor easing it? ;)) and providing them with opportunities for a less stressful life. You are right of course; they do put up with a lot.
  13. Prototype special interests are here - https://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/forum/344-special-interests-uk-prototype/
  14. Accurascale is not a crowdfunding business. The abbreviation for specification is spec.
  15. It wasn't, but it's a more logical and prominent location.
  16. No-one. https://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/forum/141-somerset-dorset-joint-railway-group/
  17. I was addressing your reference to Accurascale and Cavalex to advise they they have those resources as it sounded as though you were aware that they had.
  18. Careful, you're talking rubbish again. Do you any evidence for yet another assertion? Don't just hide behind what you'd 'heard' as they're talking rubbish too. Unless you are prepared to qualify the statements you make then it's best not to post them.
  19. I think you've found a limit, will have to look if there is a setting when I'm back on the big PC or whether it's a setting on the new Cavalex subforum. Anyway I tried to add it, no joy, so I deselected Darstaed and then if let me do it. I didn't get a successful completion message but it seems to show in your stream now.
