    Thanks Mark. Any idea where I can get these Mk2 coaches in saltire livery from? Would be amazing coupled to my Class 68. Also, is there a DVT? Or are there just 6 coaches, with the last coach being sealed in terms of its gangway doors?

    So Hornby expect us to buy multiple Class 800 test trains? £250 is steep enough as it is. I for one cannot afford to fork out another £250 for an extra 2 cars, when £250 should be to buy you a whole rake of Mk.3 coaches for the HST's that they are replacing, with a bit of change.

    Any chance you could upload a snippet? Could this pave the way for some Class 800 test train coaches? Not sure if I should cancel my pre-order. As £250 for a train without any possibility of coaches in the future is a steep price, and I may just save that £250 for a (fingers crossed) Virgin Azuma Class 800 in the future. Or do people think this is a good collectable item to have?

    Thanks! Last question, I promise! What coaches do you recommend I buy first, as I have 2 sets of VTEC HSTs, I need to buy 18 coaches, something I cannot afford straight away. Should I get the buffet and trailer guard first, followed by the first class and then the standards? Which sets are more likely to go first do you all think? Thanks

    Hi. Does anyone know where I can get the VTEC MK 3 Hornby coaches from? They are out of stock on the Hornby website. Thanks

    Just emailed Hornby. They say there are no plans at the moment to produce the extra coaches for the Test Train. The customer service rep did say however that they would let the development and marketing team know, so it can be taken into future consideration. Wouldn't hold my breath chaps.
