Teleporting, or telepathy. If it's the latter, then we wouldn't need fora such a this, cos we'd all know what each other was thinking, which really wouldn't be good in most cases :O

  2. Perhaps we could strike up on an agreement with Spoons where they provide the beer and snacks for a small fee; extra income for them, and we might encourage more people to join.
  3. And here's the Lowland sleeper ready to depart Euston, December 2016. And the next photo will have the Caledonian sleeper somewhere between here and Crewe.
  4. How about following the route of a titled train, both old and modern photos accepted? We could start with an easy one, say 'The Flying Scotsman'. Or if it's easier a sleeper train?

  11. Beattock, Dumfriesshire. I can think of a few more shires north of the border (hint hint)
  12. Highley (Shropshire) on the SVR. As far as I know not taken yet. Are we allowed to head north of the border for shire counties?
  13. Pickering, North Yorkshire in October 2015. Another Shire please.

  15. Somehow the final picture is urging me to buy a Warship; who knows, could become D846 . . . Judging by the weathering, is D839 ex works Phil?
  16. Course we can, how about A to Z of stations anywhere? First up is Arley on the SVR, one I'm very familiar with. B next please.
  17. Hi Drew Many thanks for a brilliant tour today, thoroughly enjoyed it. And thank you for allowing me to take with me a lump of proper Welsh steam coal, now I need to get some 16 tonners for it to fill! Thank you once again, Liam
  18. Just a thought, when we've finished this how about we do A to Z of British stations, maybe region by region?
  19. Thank you ever so much Phil and the rest of the crew for making me feel very welcome and for operating a lot of the time (and a special thank you for the brake van). Hope you enjoy your beer! If there was a mileage tracker in my Toad then it would be a lot higher now after all those circuits behind that 37! All the best, Liam
