  6. Nice looking 37, I like them in that livery Simon
  7. I picked a flyer up at a recent show and I'm still trying to decide whether to make the trek or not! Simon
  8. Looking good Pal, you need to get that motivation back somehow! Simon
  9. I like the Flask unloading area better like this, It's looking good! Simon
  10. WALES TRIP In the early hours of this morning we (Shaun, Matt and I) arrived back from our third annual photo trip to Newport in South Wales. The first thing we saw when we arrived at Newport this year... This year we decided to add a visit to Lord & Butler in Cardiff to our itinerary. After initially resisting temptation, I bought a new wagon, a Bachmann EWS OBA wagon weathered by themselves. Cheers Simon
  11. Nice looking layout pal, looks good! Simon
  12. Bachmann DB Schenker class 66 with LegomanBiffo Loksound v4 sound decoder shunting BYAs Simon
  13. SHUNTING SESSION Hornby DB Schenker class 60 with LegomanBiffo Loksound v4 sound decoder shunting VGA/RBA vans Enjoy Simon
  14. Cheers. With movement it carries on for just over 30 seconds but if it's not moving the sound stays on for over 90 seconds, unbelievable! Simon
  15. That sounds about right! It's a good job there's always something else that can be done... Simon
  16. STAYING ALIVE Here is a demo of the 'Stay Alive' in my Digitrains Sound fitted DB class 08. It still impresses me! Simon
  17. Yep, it's a Zimo LS15x11x09 'Sugar cube' speaker (low height) fitted to a Zimo MX648 Micro Sound Decoder. There is no hiss or background noise you get with the loksound decoders, it is awesome. The stay-alive has to be seen to be believed! Simon
  18. I'm not on facebook but I'd already followed the link from your Hanwoo Central MK2 thread and looked at your page, I was well impressed! Simon
  19. I've got two sound fitted 08's now. A BR Blue one with Olivia's Trains Loksound v4 decoder and the DB Schenker one with Digitrains Zimo decoder. The DB one may be my favourite loco now! (not just my favourite 08!) Cheers Simon
  20. I vote "Pubby McPubface", hahaha! Simon
  21. MORE TRAILERS Here are a few more trailers I 'rebranded' Simon
  22. TESCO AGAIN When first planning Jubilee Road Wagon Works, I had used a road bridge as a scenic break. I wanted a vehicle on the road that would different to everyone else. I tried this... I started with one of the Oxford Diecast ambulances, dismantled it and stripped the paint off it... I built a plastic sheet body to fit on the back and then primed both. I also painted up a 'driver' figure and added paperwork in the cab Finished the paint scheme off and then art work added The model hasn't been used because using a printed backscene on the layout meant the road bridge wouldn't look right. A footbridge was used as a scenic break instead. I do have another ambulance with the intention of improving the model and hopefully using it on a future layout... Cheers Simon
  23. TESCO LORRY This model appeared on my London Road layout thread. The cab is a standard Oxford Diecast Volvo cab in Eddie Stobart livery. For the trailer, I designed the art work on PC software and printed it off at a suitable size onto glossy photo paper. This was then Super-glued onto one of Oxford's plain white fridge trailers Thanks Simon
  24. MY VEHICLES Some of you may have seen my wheel-set delivery trailer on my Jubilee Road Wagon Works thread Based upon this one I saw delivering at Doncaster I converted an Oxford Diecast fridge trailer into this Cheers for looking Simon
  25. I know what you mean. I only went into Digitrains to listen to one, I was that impressed I ended up leaving mine there to have the sound fitted. Back to the video... I must find a better way to film it as It's difficult to drive the loco with one hand and film it with the other! Simon
