I have a cottonwood in my yard, I know of what you speaketh! EDIT: It probably will NOT survive the winter; the wood is very brittle and it is way too close to the house for any kind of safety. Not to mention that it drops leaves, lots of leaves, almost all year not just during the fall!

I have actually been much closer to Australia, but many years ago on a cruise with the Gray Funnel Line; Philippines, Hong Kong. Tonkin Gulf. 🙀 And we almost went to Singapore but for "political" reasons we did not.

I wonder just how much the paint alone cost the painter(s)? Also, that auto rack had to have been parked for quite awhile to do that job. Note that that car is around eighty-six feet long!

President Kennedy was assassinated. Where were you when you heard the news? I was in high school; they let us out early and most of us went home very quietly and in shock.
