  1. Recently saw that some 4mm Revolution Tankers have just been sold on E-bay. Single wagon : EWS @ £87 VTG RED @ £71 Triple pack : VTG GREY @ £245 Shows how Good these models are !!!
  2. Hi Benjamin, Where did you buy your Purple flowers from ??? (around the castle entrance) Have a Good show. Cheers, Paul
  3. I agree, an N gauge version would be excellent. Also thinking about a O gauge version. Just imagine all that detail ???
  4. Not that ridiculous : It is my understanding that this is not the first time that this livery has been subjected to errors. They were meant to be delivered along with the EMT version at last year's Warley Show. They failed to appear because of livery errors. (Confirmed by a Rapido employee at Warley) There have been further errors since then, leading to yet more delays.
  5. I'm glad that on behalf of fellow modellers, you are "NOT PREPARED TO ACCEPT 2ND BEST" from Rapido Trains. After the vast amount of time, effort, and money that you have obviously spent on research and development, it would be regarded as "a crime" if Rapido just feel that "2nd best" will do for us UK modellers, and that they can therefore try to ruin your reputation for Quality. Rapido promise Quality, so that is what WE expect.
  6. If things go BAD, tell her that she can have HALF of the house, but it's STUCK to your HALF !!! Lol
  7. Tell your "Good Lady" that you ordered and paid for them over 2 years ago, and that they have now finally been released. She won't know any different !!! This works for me, although I do know a good divorce lawyer if you need one !!! Lol Enjoy your models when they arrive.
  8. They look very good on your layout. Very lifelike. Cheers.
  9. I'm sure they will look very good trundling past "Deadmans Lane" When are you going to weather mine up for me ??? Cheers, Paul
  10. I wouldn't be surprised if Hattons are keeping quiet on purpose, until such time as they have fully identified and investigated as to how the problems are occurring in the first place, and with what regularity. I'm sure they will come up with a solution that will keep us all happy, and maintain our trust in them and their New products.
  11. A DCC Tamper vehicle, with all the "Bells & Whistles" would be a welcome addition to the Modern scene. It would certainly create a lot of interest at exhibitions, as it would look good either "on the move" or parked up in a siding.
  12. Hi Fran, Thanks for the swift reply. At my age, it would have been better in feet & inches. You youngsters have no consideration for the elderly !!! Lol Thanks again. Paul
  13. Hi Fran, What is the overall length of 18 of the Castle cement wagons ??? Thank you. Best regards Paul
  14. Hi Mick, The TEA'S are looking very good in the video, along with a variety of your other stock. Nice to see a good sized rake of tankers moving at just the right speed. Unfortunately, at present, I can only run a maximum of 3 on my "London Road" layout, that also features in the video, but i've got another 10 on order with Ben & Mike, just waiting for delivery, ready for when the layout gets extended, so that we can then "Trundle" a variety of full length trains through "Nottingham" at slow speed. Good to see your layout running well again. Cheers Paul
  15. Hi, Looking Good. That's a great shot of the MPV. Good luck with the progress. Cheers Paul
  16. Hi Matt, If you like the colourful EMT HST on scene, have you considered the Dapol "Trans" class 68 ??? Not sure if DRS service them though ???
  17. Hi, Thank you for the information. Cheers.
  18. Glad to see the swift progress you are making. Keep up the Good work, and if you do hit a snag, think it through and remain positive. It will be well worth it in the end !!! Looking forward to seeing your progress. Best regards, Paul
  19. This layout is developing nicely, with an excellent range of buildings being added. Looking forward to seeing it at this years Mansfield show. Cheers. Paul
  20. Do you mean "the wife's hoover" or does she also have to cut your grass with the "hover" mower ??? If she does both jobs for you, then Sir, you have got a "Good one" there, and it would be foolish of you to trade her in for a "Newer, super detailed model" Lol
  21. Managed to see this exceptional layout again at Stafford. Very well detailed, and a good variety of stock on show. Thanks for the chat Nick. Best regards Paul
  22. Hi Mike & Ben Congratulations to you both, on being voted the N gauge manufacturer of the year in the Model Railway Awards 2018 This is a fantastic achievement for you, and goes to show that the level of detail and professionalism that you apply to your projects, is obviously held in high esteem by the N gauge public. (I know that many 4MM modellers also respect and admire your work as well) In my opinion, an award, very well deserved !!! Thank you. Paul Usual disclaimers etc.
  23. I Fully agree (Mr Stovepipe). The class 40 looks so much better when wearing Disc headcodes. I have mentioned before on this forum that my ultimate "wish list" would be to see Sutton Loco Works produce a class 40. Although when I spoke to TMC, they mentioned that they have a class 40 from Bachmann in the pipeline, which will be in Blue, unweathered, and with discs. Let us pray !!!
  24. Hi, I get that delays can and do happen, irrespective of the model being produced. I just wish that Rapido were a bit more "Up front" with us, instead of informing the model press about Warley availability, they could have told us that they were nowhere near being finished. The majority of modellers understand that there can be delays. Tell us the truth, and earn our respect by doing so. Cheers, Paul
