  1. In case there's anyone I haven't badgered on to about it, I have now recommenced CAD work and am quite contently working on a set of bodyshells and parts to replace the old Dapol Terrier body and find a use for the chassis of terriers that are now going to look incongruous alongside the new model.

  2. Regretting not putting boiler bands on the CAD for my LNWR 'Jubilee'... Lining out is proving to be a pain!

paint them on transfer sheet and then add them, no need for boiler bands...

Or paint the on sellotape, cut out and stick on....

I always find "moulded" boiler bands actually make lining the boiler lining harder because nothing sits flat...

  3. Currently wondering why I have two different prices for the same model on i.materialise...

Did you choose to have it made from gold?

  6. I've finally bothered to do a new website! https://sem34090.wixsite.com/southcoastrailmodels

I'm really looking forward to following your progress. The G6 is such a useful loco for Southern modellers!

  7. The G6 Prints have now been ordered!

  8. Just had to re-do the boiler on my T3 twice this evening. RTR Chassis are very helpful to those like myself who have yet to get a kitbuilt chassis to function, but they can be a pig to fit into pre-grouping locos!

  9. The T3 is progressing nicely, with the loco body more or less complete and the tender progressing. I'm hoping to have the G6 on sale in 4mm before too long, and in other scales soon afterwards.

  10. G6 Now uploaded to i.materialise, so should be on sale within the next few weeks.

  11. My G6 has now been uploaded to shapeways so people can see it. Still a few issues to sort before I offer it for sale though: https://www.shapeways.com/product/ZAD9PVNAC/lswr-adams-g6-4mm-original-condition?optionId=64872831&li=user-profile

Is there a proper thread on this interesting project rather than status updates?

The main thread is entitled 'sem34090's pre-grouping workbench/screen' in the pre-grouping forum.
