I think you can only deter the opportunist tea leaf with cctv etc the more professional blagger will know all the tricks to evade cctv. A mate of mine had his car broken into in a restaurant car park. The thieves escaped cctv id by using rear fog lights to dazzle the cctv hiding the registration plate. This was a number of years ago

I'm back after a short absence due to bathroom refit.

Morning all I am back in the room I can't catch up with everything I have missed but will offer congratulations and sympathy where needed. The great bathroom refit has finished not without problems. One of the new toilets has to be replaced as there is a pinhole leak in it somewhere. We were also left without hot water. It looked like the fitter had destroyed the diverter valve. I had that replaced on my heating cover. Although I couldn't fault the fitters work he didn't inspire confidence when he thought the radiators were electric. Especially when he was going to be changing 2 to towel radiators. What is it with the bluudy video that comes across the phone screen I am sure it has been discussed

Evening all Quick check in Now looking for something to do tomorrow around the house as I can't get to any of my tools in the garage due to stacks of tiles and plumbing materials. The Mrs isn't well so I doubt we will be able to make the Barnsley show

9Afternoon all Bathroom refit continues apace so have been missing for most of the day. Can i add Verdone weedkiller to the list. Oh and I don't think Brasso is as good as it used to be. Maybe it was because it was Brasso wedding o bought. Upvc cleaner doesn't seem to be as potent these days. I got some from a customer of ours in around 2003 it was brilliant shifted ingrained dirt. Some had leaked down the side of the bottle and it ate through it like putting poly cement on expanded polystyrene.

Finally managed to calm down Feel so tired. Mrs is complaining about the mess. (Builders tools in the house) they have put them in Lucas'sroom he is looking at them enviously. Why the bl00dy hell did I bother I ask myself
