  12. No question is a silly question if you don’t know the answer 🙂 If I apologised every time I thought I had said something daft I be forever apologising 🤪 I always thought a lokpilot was a steering wheel lock for an airplane
  13. UK Baby Boomers (1946-1964) ... Generation X (1965-1980) ... Pillocks (20th May 1975)… Millennials (1981-1996) ... Generation Z (1997-2012) ... Generation Alpha (2013-2025) 🤪
  14. 4217 GWR (non-cursive script)* *I always thought non-cursive was if you said “oh dear” instead of “oh boll**ks” 🤪
  15. If I were to model a diesel layout I’d have to go for BR green* there’s something classic about the green livery without looking too modern (if that makes sense) *this from someone that complains about all his locos being green because they are Great Western 🙄
  16. Well deserved praise though! 👍 My layout was going to be called Elbow but not knowing the difference I called it Ar*e 🤪
  17. Joking aside I wish I had the room for a continuous loop, I’ve even considered N gauge but my eyes struggle with OO gauge as it is
  18. I’m already working on my next layout and I’ve not finished the one I’ve started. I’ve decided I want something simple, easy to wire and quick to build Based on my normal build speed I’ll have it finished in a couple of years Little Warren Definitely a two wire system! 🤪
  19. WOW! that looks great 👍
  20. 🎵What a difference a grey makes…
  21. Apologies for regurgitating the topic of primer but a while ago I bought some STYNYLREZ primer for the airbrush because it was raved about on an aircraft modelling forum. Its recommended to use a minimum 0.5mm needle and air pressure at 25/30PSI I did try it in my Iwata Eclipse but having a 0.3mm needle it clogged up very quickly and even thinning and/or flow improver didn’t help so I put them to one side and forgot about them however I’ve very recently bought a cheap (less than £15 cheap) airbrush from Amazon with a 0.5mm needle and I’ve managed to get it to spray without clogging so it could possibly be an alternative to an aerosol primer? I’m going to do a few tests first to see if it adheres better than the Vallejo I have If it’s of interest I’m happy to report the results
  22. That is one handsome loco I wish I’d gone down the SE&CR route instead of modelling GWR (when I CBA of course) I’ve really enjoyed doing something different with the added bonus of distracting me from doing my own layout 😂
  23. They did have a short cameo at Warren before they were sent on And for my own piece of mind I made sure the twin bolsters would negotiate 2nd radius curves
