I 've been informed today that, due to my diabetes now 'probably' requiring insuin, my scuba days are over... Oh well, when life hands you lemons - MAKE MODELS!
-
Finally got my (modelling) life organised thanks to the monthly wall-planner. Currently working on the club 'O' gauge station canopy.

Now safely ensconced at 'The Plough' at Clifden Hampden. A couple of nice local beers and a meal!

Just leaving snowy Surrey for a night in an Oxford hotel. Why? I'm going to drive a loco tommorrow on an 'experience day' at Didcot. Thanks to my ever-loving wifey who bought it as a birthday present. Her reward is a night in the hotel and a chinese meal in their restaurant!

well the railway room is now clear of sundry household items & I've even part- cleaned about 3mm of building dust from various surfaces. Might even be able to restart modelling this week!

Not much modelling this week - the house modifications/chopping wood for the stove ahead of the expected cold snap/building shelvcews & decorating are all co-conspirators. However I did spend part of today playing with my new camera - Nikon D3200 +toys... All courtesy of my home insurance following the theft of my previous rig! Thanks 'Aviva' for great no quibble service!
-
Taking a couple of hours off from modelling - playing with my new Kindle 'Fire' which finally arrived today. RMWeb on the move at last!

'I'm Back'! Many thanks for all your kind wishes.. Neil - I did try to 'tap him up' for a few blades but he uses different ones.. Coachmann - app arently 'up n coming' technology will not need replacement - it will be treatred like a stent, inserted via an artery into the heart & work off the body's own electrical system . All I'VE got to do is to live long enough to have one! Right back to the 'Challenge' tommorrow.

Right - Off to hospital to have a pacemaker fitted. Going to be done under a 'local' - but they won't let me watch! Catch you all tommorow!
