    Had a good look at all the bits I have on order. The TPE Mk5 set looks amazing, as do all the hoppers. Have 2 pair of the IIA and the shorty HYA on order. Can’t wait to get them in my hands! Soon right? Super impressed with the nuke stuff too. Totally forgot to pick up catalogue or postcards tho. D’oh!

    I don’t disagree but… with Accurascale I can pay over many months so I could afford a factory fitted sound version and the detail is likely to be a step up from the Bachmann ones. (I keep eyeing up a Bachmann one in my local model shop but I’m resisting atm!)

    Those WCRC coaches are just lovely! Can’t wait to get them on my little layout. Now if we could have a WCRC 37 in batch 2….

    That Beacon livery 66 is lovely. I don’t know what it is about that livery but it’s ace. The photo of it in the last post is also great!

    A 37 (and a second from the Heavy Tractor Group) TPE Mk5’s WCR Mk2B’s x2 IIA pair 2 pairs of the cutdown hoppers I’m nowhere near the leaderboard!

    Oh how good do they look???? I appreciate this is not a new picture but I hadn’t really zoomed in before. I have 37608 on order (the pretty livery suckered me in) and the heavyweight (supporting the GCR group). I definitely can’t afford another guv…

    Ok. I lasted a week. Aaaaaand succumbed after seeing the real thing at the GCR Diesel Gala today. (It was only a matter of time. I’m local to the GCR and have spent many a happy Saturday morning watching assorted locos go by at Rothley, including this beast!)

    So one of the reasons I have one 37 on order is this painting that used to hang on the wall of my adopted Grandfather. I know that Accurascale are making this loco in its modern guise, wondering if anyone might be able to date (roughly) when the loco was in this condition? (And please Fran, batch two?)

    The green and yellow Tarmac livery is lovely! They're very cool looking wagons which is definitely my #1 rule on my railway!

    Both Rails and Kernow said July too. I have a WCRC one on order. First ever Heljan loco (I'm relatively new to the hobby). Mainly ordered because I travelled behind it a few years ago at Swanage (on one of the Wareham trains).

    I love my two! only (small) issue I’ve had with mine is a droopy coupling but fixed with a shim of card.

    It’s an effect of the refresh rate of the lights and the frame rate of the camera. in real life they’re not flashing at all (or rather they’re flashing faster than the eye can see)

    Is there an ETA? I’ve paid for a sound fitted ROG Europhoenix one and am eying up a DRS one of some flavour and seeing if I have enough time to pay for it! As an aside which of the DRS ones are running on the current railway in the depicted livery?

    Half of my JSA’s have been dispatched! I’ve got two of the VTG grey packs but it’s two separate orders. Looking forward to getting them out on a bit of track with a nice 60. ☺️☺️

    I think I speak for all of us when I say "YAY!" We're patient because we know that you'll a) keep us informed throughout and b) offer phenomenal models at the end of it.

    These are addressable LEDs. They need a microcontroller of some kind to tell which of them to light up (and what colour) hence the data feed. If you just connected power nothing would happen as they don’t know which ones to switch on! (you can grab an easy to program board for <£5 should that be something you fancy!)

    It’s all good! Half term next week, gives me chance to play with them then! I’ll be distracted from what I’m supposed to be doing else!
