  1. Hi Guys, I have been an E Bay customer for around 20 years now. I have 100% positive feedback all around. Never had a single problem. Today I sold a "Star Wars" Light sabre. The buyer paid instantly with PayPal. Great! I was then informed by E Bay that the funds would not be released for up to 21 days! This was to "safeguard" the buyer as I had not sold anything for a while. (Given I work in one of the UK's leading auction houses, selling on E Bay is not usually a priority....) The funds would not be released until he had the item. Two phones calls later nothing has changed, in fact, they have made me more angry. So do not expect a "quick sale" and access to funds unless you are an "active" seller. I am now closing my account forthwith once the funds are in. Seller beware! Cheers, Ade.
  2. See if this is any help? http://www.gaugemaster.com/instructions/dcc_concepts/Wiring-Pointwork-and-Special-Track-Conditions-For-DC-or-DCC-2014.pdf
  3. Hi Julian, not sure I follow which bit of track you are having problems with? On your diagram diagram you do not show any power feed to the siding (which in your video) the wagon is sitting on. Cheers, Ade.
  4. Hi Phil, the goods shed is very nice indeed. I have got one to scratch build at some point in time. Cheers, Ade.
  5. More work been done on the 12 inch to one foot scale. The second coat of paint on the interior is nearly complete, just the window wall to complete now. Also more shingles done on the right side of the roof. I would like to say Merry Christmas to everyone on RM web. Thanks for all the kind comments on my project over the past year. Best wishes for 2020! Cheers, Ade.
  6. Mine arrived tonight. Set up a few yards of track on the living room floor and had a play with my locos while my wife is out at our company Xmas party. I decided not to go, preferring to spend my money more wisely, ie on trains Cheers, Ade.
  7. Found this snippet in January Railway Modeller: Three types to be made: LNWR based on Diggle station. Southern based on Westerham GWR based on Culkerton. Cheers, Ade.
  8. You can always add some lead flashing to help disguise the joint too. Cheers, Ade.
  9. There is a good deal on Amazon the Gaugemaster GM-GMC-100MO at £69.33 That is a £34 saving on Gaugemaster's own price. I have just bought one! Even though I am going DCC and have got a controller for that, I have not bought chips and speakers yet for most locos and I need to get them run in first. Cheers, Ade.
  10. Glad they have arrived ok. Have a great Christmas and best wishes for the New Year! Cheers, Ade.
  11. Hi Mike, these were mentioned at the Dapol open day a couple of months ago. They are LSWR based if I recall correctly, certainly Southern put it that way. They are being designed like the originals in a modular format so you can build them with doors, windows etc in different positions. Cheers, Ade.
  12. Just been down to the cabin to check on the paintwork. Dried OK. We had been hoping to get away to Egypt over Xmas, but prices have gone crazy since Thomas Cook went bust. Almost £2000 increase per person (!) since last Xmas....so that is not happening. So hopefully I will get some more work done. I would like to get the legs put onto the baseboards once all the walls are painted. Cheers, Ade.
  13. Hi Phil, you might jest but I toying with idea plus maroon toplights to the window frames. Cheers, Ade
  14. I think a rough rule of thumb for O gauge is to find one with a 5 Amp output. Cheers Ade.
  15. Hi Norman, the OO gauge signals are also servo operated. Cheers, Ade.
  16. Hi Andy, the paint was still wet and the light is from the small flood lamp in the room, as it was starting to get dark. The actual finish when dry will be satin. Back scenes are still a long way off... Cheers, Ade.
  17. The cold and wet weather made me retreat to working indoors this weekend. The interior has now got the first coat of cream coloured paint done as of yesterday. Today I made a start on the second coat. The roof at the far end has been done along with the rear wall. The wall in the right of the pic is just first coat. There are some trim parts to fit between the roof and walls to hide the gaps. Cheers, Ade.
  18. Hi Phil, I look forwards to seeing more. Cheers, Ade.
  19. Consider them yours. No idea on postage, sorry. They could collect 9 till 5 from my place of work in Etwall, Derby. Cheers, Ade
  20. 12 brass rails, each 150cm long. Free, just pay the postage. But bear in mind they are quite heavy. Or you can collect. Cheers, Ade.
  21. Hi Rod, I always look forwards to seeing updates and news from Ramchester. Looks like you had a nice operating session. Cheers, Ade.
