  2. Looking good graham . Stuart
  3. Thanks Steve hope you had a good one to. I've not had a lot of time to do any work on the layout lately I was helping my brother run smithdown rd junction at the Orpington show last weekend so that has given me abit of mojo back. He has also lent me his hexfrog juicer to try out on the points to see if that will improve the running so I need to get the layout out and test that first I will post an update as soon as any progress has been made Stuart
  4. Thanks. Not that Iv found I'm still trying to source some at the moment Stuart

The 37 is the more likely option at the moment but the sound of a 47 is awesome . Just means that my oo gauge sound pannier is going to have to go .

  14. Thanks southernboy I agree with you I think it adds a little but of a feature to the track and I'm sure when we weather the the 3rd rail we should be able to keep it as it is. Fingers crossed Stuart
  15. Thanks for all the kind comments guys and thank you graham for doing the replays . Stuart
  16. Progress has been made on the 3rd rail it took some time but Iv managed to get the first section into platform one done and I'm going to run the 3rd rail across the point work and into the first siding. The first bit of this has been down also. And one with the cep Stuart
  17. The Western looks great Jo. Good choice on livery as well I'm waiting for the Dapol 33.59. And I would like to get hold of the nse 50 as well if they all look as good as the western then it's going to be worth the wait . The layout looks cracking as well my cup of tea. Stuart
  18. Hi Steve yeah I found him fine. Thanks again. I do like the clock set I will probably get some of those first to see how they look Stuart
  19. Thanks for that Steve I will certainly be getting a few bits when I can get some money together . I was hoping to get round to Graham's this week but work has been getting in the way so far Stuart
  20. Thanks Steve. I completely Agree just adding abit of colour to the station should make it stand out and in the small space it's in should look rather smart well that's what I hoping. It's upto me now to crack on with the layout and get all the fine details on. I still need to get the locos chipped but with Xmas coming up that should sort that out hopefully I have still got plenty of weathering to get done on stock aswell yet so Iv got lots to keep me occupied. Stuart
  21. Sorry Grahame Iv just realised I didn't say about the canopies . They are from ratio . Stuart
  22. Hi Grahame thank you very much I can't take any credit for the work so far that has all been done by my brother I shall be finishing off the rest of the scenery though. Stuart
  23. Hi Steve thanks that's agreat idea with the canopy I was already thinking about the red lamps great minds think alike . Fingers crossed I get of work on time this week then I can help graham get the 3rd rail fitted and then we can get the canopies roughly placed and holes drilled so they can slot in once they are painted Stuart
  24. I know you what you mean it's trying to find the time . I'm still undersided at the moment Iv been looking at pictures today but in going to keep looking any ideas and suggestions are more than welcome . Stuart
  25. Thanks Steve it was nice to get stuck into abit of modelling today and actually do something for the layout as graham has done everything else. Just need to make the next set for the other platform and get them painted and fitted . Stuart
