Well after a nice relaxing week at center parcs I thought I'd spend a few hours out in the sun in the garden with some stock weathering powders and some paints and finished off my seacows. There is still one more to come but graham (shanks522) is reprinting it for me anyway here are a few pics . I also spent abit of time touching up the roof on the 47 Stuart

Thanks graham, yeah your right lights do need to be added no rush though. It was nice just to sit and play trains for a while. I do like the photo myself just one of those il take a picture from there moments Stuart

Iv had the layout out for the last hour or so having a play and giving some stock a run . The problem being is that I'm running on dc rather than dcc but the running quality over the track has been so much better since I have changed it back so I think it's now time to work out where all the dead stops are going. Plus a few pics from my running session Stuart

Just quick update on the electrical side of things I borrowed a dc controller from my brother yesterday and wired it upto the layout all the stock runs completely fine at slow speeds over all the point work, so I'm now thinking of going back to dc for this one now il just have to add quite a few dead stops Stuart

I also managed to get a Dapol magnetic coupling fitted on the res 47 last night. I had to take the old coupling right out as this wasn't NEM and have fitted a new one in. Stuart

Hi guys Iv taken a step back from the electrics side if the layout for now. Iv not had alot of time for modelling of late with work getting in the way but this evening Iv started weathering my mk1 BG. Would appreciate what you guys think positive or negative. Before After And with the 47 Stuart

Hi guys thanks for all the info and help. Iv gone through every wire, every cut rail and all seems good to my eye from what you guys have said so the layout will be going back to my brothers and see what he can do . I'm hoping to get some more scenic work done this week. Thanks again guys Stuart

Hi guys thanks for the info regarding the seats. Unfortunately these small details are going to have to be put on hold for a while now as I'm having problems regarding the dcc system all the track work is running fine but I'm still having problems with the points. I have tried a hexfrog juicer on this but still no improvement. So I'm going to look into what I can do to sort this . The track is peco finescale any ideas you guys could come up with would be greatly appreciated thanks Stuart
