  2. PROGRESS AT LAST Had a boys night on wedensday with graham and dad Work on continued on getting a full circuit in. Graham continued his great work as ever with the helix and dad and i fitted the incline in at the back of the board. It didnt take long for all the wood work to be done and track laying was started. Graham and dad continued to get all te track work in after we had a short break as i had to deal with a slight repaint on a wall (thanks Graham) New pointwork for the incline and sidings The helix is still a work in progress at the moment with more side supports to go in Quick shot with the station lights on and a 33 in the back road Stuart
  3. Hi Bigbee line Thanks for your comments i like your your thoughts on the trap point and siding i may have to use that as the back round thought on that. Stuart
  4. Managed to grab five minutes to run up in the loft and get a couple of photos of some work carried out at the weekend. Graham popped over and while he was here we made a start on the helix but we have arranged one night in a couple weeks to hopefully get the rest done and maybe some track laid Progress so far Also done alittle at the front of the layout Lastly had a very enjoyable afternoon at the Erith show and picked these up Stuart

  8. Evening All Well its been along time since any updates were posted on bexham and sadly that is still the case but i have had the layout out and given it a good clean up and to make sure it was still working okay i borrowed 1 of grahams (shanks522) sound fitted 37s. I thought i would have a play around with my phone camara aswell so i have made it a slightly snowy scene for this short video. Just abit of fun really hope you enjoy Stuart
  9. Hi 47845 Bexham is currently stored in my loft under my 00 layout i didnt want to get rid of it in the end. I hope to 1 day do some more work to it i plan to keep hold of it for it now Stuarr
  10. Looking good matt i like the brick work Stuart
  11. Tonight i have been having a clear up in the loft i want to tidy some of the wiring up so i have removed the scenic board. While i had it out i thought i would get some pictures. The out and back loop and line to the fiddle yard The 2 sidings that run down the backscene and the lines to the station and the yard And the easy drop in area for the main board nice and easy no bolts or latches just drop in and go. And finally this will be where the helix will go and connect back up with the lines at the back of the board the timber is cut for the helix just needs fitting now. Stuart
  12. Thanks Graham finally got there. Tjf4375 i would like to say i could take credit for the out and back idea but that was down to my brother (shanks522) I will try and get some more videos uploaded now i have worked it out Stuart

  17. Well today has been a busy day at Haynes End with plenty of passenger services and a few freights but first up i managed to catch a 33 with an inspection saloon passing through the station 33 an Inspection saloon going into the tunnel Shortly after i caught an EPB coming in to the station About an hour later the 33 returned to pick up some wagons from the yard After coupling up to the minneral wagons then collected a box van from the loading bay The 33 then backed the wagons on to the brake van and waited for a passing passenger service A 2 bill passes the 33 on the freight About 45mins later after the two trains had gone a 73 passes through the station with empty mail van movement Following the 73 was the returning EPB And just as i was about to leave 37049 came through with a small engineers train Lastly as prosmised a quick pic of the 08 Many thanks Stuart

I managed to find some of the wagons that i will be using on the layout today in the many boxes in the loft! To give it that early 70s feel Box vans in the loading bay and a couple of mineral wagons waiting to be collected Next 37049 arrives with a brake van to collect the 16t mineral wagons the engine will run round here and depart the way it cane in Stuart
  22. Hi Graham Thank you very much for the inspection saloon. It was only for a quick update so locos were in the cabinet over christmas. The signal is still only placed in the hole at the moment so when it is put in properly it will be plumb ! Stuart
