The" tank base" is from the Diamond tank transporter, here is another, with a intersting scene from the Korean war, a captured russian truck was used by the US forces as a railway car. (This is true, I have an old picture of this) modelldoc

What is with these kits from Peco? 1927 Maudslay ML3 Bus Western National and the 1926 Thornycroft Type PB 4-Ton Lorry modelldoc

Yes and no, the base is from Matchbox, the tank is Fujimi, sure, I's my model. It is a T-34-85, the Matchbox model (now Revell) is a T-34-76, the turret is different. modelldoc

You are right, all Airfix railway range is now available from Dapol, Airfix used 1:72 ( a little lie for the continent, there is 1:76 not popular . In Japan, Fujimi had some military kits in 1:76, like this russian tank: modelldoc

1:80, this scale do you have in Japan. The reason is the other gauge from Japanese railkways (1067 mm), so they declare some kits in 1:80 (but is 1:76 in real. As an example here is a model from Aoshima: Mitsubishi Fuso Aero Star MP 37 is a heavy-duty single-decker bus produced by the Japanese manufacturer Mitsubishi Fuso since 2010. modelldoc

When we have the Harvard, we need an Air Traffic Control truck, nobody made one. So here comes the Airfix Matador with a new body, with some parts from matchbox and a checkerboard decal from Revell. BTW, the Willys is the Matchbox kit. modelldoc

Sorry no news from Airfix, so here we have an Albion LAD from 1958 with a 4000 gallon spirit tank semi-trailer. All, including the transfers are from RTI: modelldoc

Here is a link for the company, https://www.tiny.com.hk/locale/en-US/corpdefault.aspx?corpname=tiny There you can find out all. modelldoc

A little bit Airfix, a little bit RTI (chassis) and a little bit from the stash, and we have a Bedford OYC water bowser: It is a little bit freestyle, but for me okay. modelldoc
-
New year, time for a new entry. The Airfix recovery set with the Queen Mary trailer was the base for these conversion. The Bedford TK (here the JB-Airfix cab) but RTI has the same with a Queen Mary trailer. modelldoc
-
Philj W you are absolutely right, here is the original kit from Matchbox, now from Revell: modelldoc
-
Oh, oh Airfix, you have a affair with Matchbox / Revell: Austin K6 with the body from Montys caravan, okay not absolute correct, but nice. modelldoc
-
So, now 100 per cent Airfix (and a little bit Dapol, but this was Airfix too) a Bedford OXC with a tanker trailer (used the Matador tank): modelldoc
