  1. Yes, we didn't get time to run this loco in or clean the wheels as we were manning the stand but were keen to get it on a layout.
  2. More Big Goods running, this time with 3D printed tests of the new Caley vans
  3. Hi, the pickup units we have are the same type as they are the warranty spares that were shipped with the main order.
  4. Any tampo removal will risk damage to the paint but the best method I have yet found it using a wooden cocktail stick.
  5. Usually we say 9 months from the order book closing date (to account for shipping etc.), but on the D.67s the order book has only just opened, so it's got a little while yet.
  6. It's on the list to adjust the Jones green livery as well, closer to the colour in Moore's painting. Hoping to have them here Q4 2024.
  7. For my personal model I've ordered via Narrow Planet/Light Railway Stores.
  8. Bear in mind that on the doors, the window frames are part of the transparent plastic of the windows and have not been painted/printed.
  9. We couldn't lay our hands on any corridor Mk1s that morning ;)
  10. Hello, sorry if we missed the message about the pickups. The replacement plungers come as a complete unit, rather than replacing the spring on its own. If you are stuck, our warranty department should be able to replace them for you, or send you some replacements to change.
  11. Ah yes - if you place the order for the Caley vans, then the loco, it should go through.
  12. The order book has closed but if anyone still has pre-ordering open on their shop then you should still be able to place one - we still have 'extras' available direct too.
  13. In the production queue, the factories are returning from Spring Festival at the moment so we should have things moving again soon.
  14. The front portion of the frames with the guard irons? If so yes the intention is to have these in the polybag.
  15. Here is 103 (the preserved one) in Jones green showing the bufferbeam. The Am Baile site is a fantastic resource for Scottish railways.
  16. Remember we work on a pre-order model, production hasn't started yet and won't do so until the order book closes. IIRC we were cautious about having too many preservation liveries and the red was different to others we had sold before, the lined livery being quite close to 'Beatrice' from Run 1.
  17. More info to follow but the 'blanks' are all black painted bodies. We'll be prepping some templates based on our previous PO wagon artworks. Shaded lettering TBC pending testing. Intention is to have a choice between 5 and 7-plank versions.
  18. Vac and air hoses are planned to be included in the accessory bag. :)
  19. A couple of these things came up in our discussion with the HRS and looking at the sources/photographs. The colour paintings conflict on a few points as do the written accounts and it is possible there was more than one application of the style. I do not wish to infringe copyright so will not post the whole photo here but this is an excerpt of a photo of 116 in full Jones livery. The centre of the boiler bands is black which shows as much darker than the wheel tyres, which are a close match to the wheel centre in shade. Likewise it shows that the outside of the wheel weight is dark and the centre of the weight is lighter. The cab interior colours are slightly different depending on the loco, unfortunately we could not convince the factory to scumble the interior walls ;) Claret frames - will check sources and confirm.
  20. Finalising artwork at the moment, have been getting advice from some very helpful people on interiors. Painted samples likely to be after orderbook closing - the date for this will be announced soon so people can get their orders in.
