I’m told that may well be a Father’s Day present…. -

Looking closer at the grey 92s left there’s a raised barcode on the body side on both so it wouldn’t be a simple Jon of just removing the unwanted branding. Oh well I’ll just have to wait for a second run if there is one. -

I’m looking at picking up another grey 92 but I don’t want what’s left at Accurascale as in the Europorta or EWS sticker versions. I noticed on one of the very useful “how to weather” guides that “all printing comes off with Humtrol thinners” would this be the same for the yellow EWS stickers on 036 and europorta roundle on 043? Thanks in advance -

This has always been my understanding as well, that would also add weight to the overhauled GB locos having them removed as I’d assume the shells where stripped extensively to allow work to be undertaken. -

Thanks for the heads up, 92003 with sound ordered 🤗 I’ll save my points up for the O gauge Class 37,67 and/or 170 to be announced late this year……🤪 Shames Charles Dickens wasn’t available with sound or I’d of had that as well, maybe round two… -
It does, cheers. When they entered traffic way back in 2005? I think it was there wasn’t even a hint of DOO operation even though they are fully capable of mirror operation. They where a dream to work after the 321s, especially on the ex central work towards New Street. Good old Bletchley man stopped NSE DOO on the West Coast back in the 90s, although I suspect it’s still buried in driver contracts ready to pounce if the time comes muck like the other former NSE sectors.

Although a Class 68 would be good, it’s not got “many” liveries… DRS as delivered DRS revised with new corporate name, which slips my mind right now. TPE Chiltern Although the sphere of operation is good, pretty much every corner of the UK on various traffics. But…….. If your looking for a commercial proposition with a decent livery suit, combined with the modellers need for a go anywhere loco you can’t do much better (than what’s been already produced) than a Class 67 with over 20 livery schemes over 30 locos that’s got to be up there with the most colourful Class compare to the fleet size? EWS as delivered Royal Train - early EWS Royal Train - late DB Chiltern Silver unbranded Wrexham & Shoprshire Arriva Trains Wales unbranded Transport for Wales early Transport for Wales late EWS executive train EWS era EWS executive train DB era DBS branded DB maple leaf DB small branding QE2 platinum scheme Pullman Colas GBRF Cally Sleeper Any more ? A decent suite for a standard run, and a few for specials.

Gaugemaster collection O gauge class 08 and 09’s
Goodnight Sweetheart replied to 47606odin's topic in Gaugemaster
Hattons sent out an email with painted samples contained from gauge master so this project isn’t dead as many of us thought. -
66001 & 002 are the only locos who can couple to new Stalder units through the tunnel, generally used as a adaptor vehicle between Dollands Moor and Ripple lane with a 92 doing the hard work, with the latter cutting off at RL with the 66 hauling the train onwards. Hence why they generally hang round rhe south of the country lately.
