  1. Decided to bite the bullet and go for my 3rd 50, 017 in NSE as I saw her at Saltley when she was freshly painted. Disaster though, she was sold out! However, I’ve been saved by by favourite local model shop in Exmouth!
  2. 50025

    LMS 10000

Apologies if this has had been covered, but are there any plans for a rerun of the twins in LMS? I think these were originally limited to Rails, but surely by now are main range?
  3. Am tempted to get into TT, but I’d need some LNWR to go with it!
  4. This is what I remember best 50003at St Davids. Fran, when are you going to put us out of our misery and announce the next batch? 🤣
  5. I’d love models of the last 50s I saw in active service at St. Davids: D400 50003, 50029 and 50033 revised NSE 50031 Large logo One of my retirement pipe dreams (5 years, 9 months and 28 days- not that I’m counting) is to make a model of St Davids shed on that day when I saw the 50s for the last time. I very nearly bought the Hornby version of 033, glad I held off. I thought 50017 looked awful. I used to see her at Tyseley. However, put me down for one! 🤣
  6. Got my departmental banana van. Wow. Amazing in all aspects. Thank you accurascale
  7. Having received my Mark 2bs yesterday, I would say all Mark 2 variants! The quality of these coaches takes things to a new level. Oh and obviously some 40s to pull them!
  8. My 2bs have arrived . Wow! Lighting looks great on them. Detail is amazing. Coupling options are fantastic. Really sets the standard for all future coaches. It shows what can be done with care, attention and a focus on getting things right. I went for blue/ grey, to remind me of excursions I used to go on with my dad. Absolutely thrilled. Cant wait for my 50s to arrive to pull them. Thankyou accurascale.
  9. I’ve got 2 on order but so tempted with 50017. I remember seeing her go past me at Saltley in that livery thinking ‘what the hell’. Was the first NSE I saw, a bit of a shock after large logo! Are there any plans for other suprised in this batch?
  10. Hopefully announcement is more Class 50s
  11. I remember seeing 58002 at Birmingham New Street just after she had entered service . Lovely machines. Sad that most lying in bits now on the continent 😢 Not 002 in the pic, but still brings back memories
  12. Agree with the above. Would love to see what you could do with one of these
  13. I needed an excuse to buy an accurascale 31. Thank you! 👍👍
  14. Just purchased this beauty with my rewards. What would have pulled it and what load would it have had? Cheers!
  15. Where did you see that? If so, take my money now! I remember buying the limited edition Lima one of these in 91. Think it was with Rails magazine?
  16. It’s a new phrase ‘Just saying Fran 🙏’ cough 50019 departmental blue D400railtour
  17. Really nice to see some additional models for the Cavalex 60 forum. Just saying Fran 🙏
  18. IKB ordered 👍 looking forward to these.
  19. Variants comment has thrown me a bit. 8fs not really that varied? Hmmm
  20. What’s great about accurascale is that they make a number of liveries and named for each model. With some other companies it’s a drip feed of 2 maybe 3 different identities every few years. Really great for me to be getting excited about modelling again after a few lean yers for me
  21. I remember seeing her being built at a Crewe works open day, hence my order for my 1930s GWR layout! From memory the visit was organised by the class 58 group and we spent time climbing over withdrawn class 40s.
