    I have been having trouble my powercab. When I took it apart there was a black sticky residue on the circuit board and on the back of the rubber buttons. I cleaned it with meths but it comes back after awhile. Has any one experienced this or know of a cure?. Thx

    Hi Does anyone do replacement motors as a upgrade for these instead of the Dapol one?. Mine runs ok for a while then slows down then speeds up again and again in both directions.

    First place would try would be there service and spares department. Send them a email and they will get back pretty quick

    I have a couple of these decoders and they work well with or without the stay alive. The trouble I found was the stay alive is quite big , I wanted one for my fairbourne 264t but this was away to big. I now have a Zimo 616f mini decoder with a stay alive kit from you choos to fit which is a lot smaller.

    I think your best bet would be to email DCC concepts and ask them. From what I have heard they are always very helpful.

    I have seen a light weight helix made from gator board on YouTube and was wondering if anyone has a helix on there layout of any type and what they thought of them are they worth the hassle ?.

    Hi guy's Simple question does anyone make replacement metal wheels for peco wagons specifically or is it a try and see with farish and Dapol wheels. What do you use?.

    Hi guys I have a problem my loco keeps stopping on my peco insul frog points or it shorts them out and stops everything!!. Any body got any ideas on what to do apart from wrecking the loco

    Does anyone have any tips on how to get these to run properly?. Mine won't pull hardly anything that's if I can get it running without stopping. It seems that the pickup system is naff and poorly set up and with traction tyres on two Axel's the pick ups are compromised more!. Any help appreciated

    Hi guys I have a blue class 40 sound fitted that seems to be very slow at full speed From what I understand the CV settings for the next 18 sound decoder are different from a normal 6 pin decoder. Can anybody tell me there settings to get it running how it should please. Many thanks Roger

    Hi everyone Is anyone else getting a problem with these decoders fitted in to farish locos. Mine starts ok goes a little way then stops then it moves a little then keeps stopping and starting and the lights on the loco starts flashing!!!!. I know its the decoder because when I fit a bachman decoder the loco works perfectly. Is there a way to rest the decoder or could it be a faulty one. Thanks for any suggestions.

    Thanks guys Before I changed my layout my old one had attached relays and switches to the points and a rats nest of wiring . I think I had about 60 separate wires going to the board being half analogue and half dcc . so now I am trying to embrace Dcc fully and get the most out of it.

    Sorry guys. I have about 12 points all dcc controlled in hidden siding's and am using a nce powercab . All I want is to have led's on my track map no switches and for the just to change when I change the points . I am looking for something as simple as possible with a little wiring to my track map as possiable.

    Hi Guys I am after a simple mimic display just led to change colour and show point position ect , no switches does any one do a dcc decoder that would be suitable, I want to keep wiring to panal as simple as poss. thanks roger
