Enjoyable show, good selection of trade & layouts, have attached a picture of a proper Cornish pasty, as the cafe had no idea what a pasty should be, what they were selling could be mistaken for as apple turnover with less sugar ;-)
From a personal view I didn't have any issues with layout height, I'm 5'9" layouts seemed to be running well and there was a good selection of traders from kits and bits , rtr to secondhand overpriced tat!!
Would have liked to see more diesel and electric outline, preferably in 7mm though

Back now from an enjoyable day, spent the longest time watching the antics on Denton Brook, which took 4 operators to run, the operating mobile crane with working stabilizing legs was amazing!!! Good selection of layouts and traders too, got sound decoder to fit in my Heljan peak now..
Quick pic from Trevithick day in Camborne, 2 of Luton's finest, along with a mini pick-up, once described as the cheapest 2 seater sports car you can buy, and a mini van, all a very rare site on the roads now!!
One reason is Hornby don't fit the sawn off piece of steel bar that lima fitted to their model, fitting a much smaller weight presumably to give more space for decoder ( and cut costs)which drastically reduced traction!!
A rebuild along the lines of the long gone Belgrave and birstall station may be more realistic for an updated GC , even with the addition of the inevitable industrial estate, but definitely won't be as attractive!! Some compromise will be needed..
Described as Hornby tank wagons, one is 1950s triang, not sure on the provenance of the other, chassis could be bogie from a lima diesel??

Well my model turned up safety at work earlier this week, just need to build the layout for it to run on, in retrospect should have ordered the dcc version, can anyone recommended a decoder?? Not necessarily with sound.. Or is sound decoder available separately
Unidentified class 87 at Cheddington, not sure of date but I had gone there with my new camera to photograph the 86's before they were withdrawn, didn't see any & later found out the last run was the previous week!!
One for the A4 collector who has every one!!
