Can someone help with the two GWR offerings please? Are they essentially the same apart from the running numbers? Looks like the underframe detail differs, but could just be that the photo is taken from the opposite side. My knowledge of these isn't great and I can't decide which is the case.

According to a Hattons email, it sounds like the GBRF Gaugemaster special has now been delayed until March 2024 which is disappointing. It was due this month, so how did it just loose a year!?!

Bachmann GWR 45t Ransomes & Rapier Crane now also reduced to £124 at TMC! I've finally succumbed...

Thanks. So what dates did it wear this livery then please?

post refurb so March 81 onwards from the photo above
Thanks! So march 81 until ?
-
So if its pre refurb that makes it July 1978-81? Looks good.

Does anyone know the history with the yellow ferrocrete wagon? Looks interesting.

Back to the 31's ... 😉
When are the other 2 exclusives being announced?
Dying to see if one of them is in NR Yellow with the working Infra-red lights!

Temped by the FL orange 206.
Slightly annoying that it's 206 again though. Does anyone know of this would this be easy to renumber to either 202/3/4/5 or are there any noticable detail differences?

Even special delivery doesn't seem to be safe at the moment. I had a sound fitted Charles and a Nesta posted to me yesterday morning and they are still sat in the senders post office.

Yes 🥳 !!!!!
The revised Yeoman livery would be ace.

OK so mines now had over 10 hours of running with at least 8 of those hauling a rake of 8 of the heavy JHA wagons. Really smooth hauler with good slow speed performance. No issues with the axle box covers either 😄

Poop, tomorrow could be an expensive day. Sound fitted Charles and Nesta on order 🤫

I'm not a 59 expert so unsure on the accuracies of the exhaust and radio pods on the 200s, but its a very nice model. No loose parts and everything seems in place. The finish is impeccable and gives a lovely satin sheen. Fitted with an imperium decoder and the lighting works as per the instructions. I don't have a hattons 66, but this is a big jump up from the Bachmann 66s I have.
Currently running in, but seems smooth so far. Have a nice rake of JHAs which have been waiting a few years for it later!
Edit: door fitting also seems very good on this model / version.

DB variant arrived today. Haven't seen any pics of this one yet, they all seem to be the Yeoman version, so eager to finish work and have a play.

Just noticed Rails are listing the sound fitted Charles as in stock. The payment was processed so with any luck in a day or two I should have my first quarry Hunslet. Just got to start the layout to run them all on now.
Interesting if they are right! Bachmann still saying Dec/Jan, but will be a nice present if its here already!

Looks lovely, but already got a sound fitted Charles and a Nesta on pre-order so will wait for the 'as today' version.

It sounds like today is finally the day, with several of the online shops stating dcc stock due to arrive.

These are great models with lovely detail. Mine arrived today after missing out last time. I have fairly wide radius curves so not an issue on my layout, but IMO the wheel clearance doesn't seem like it would run on R2 or below.

These look stunning. Even with a West Country layout with no OHLE i'm trying to fight the urge to buy 92001!

Dcc ready Charles showing as arrived on the Bachmann site. Hopefully dcc sound won't be far behind.
