  1. On those Livery illustration in the announcement, shouldn't 50725 be numbered as Sc50725 instead of M50725?
  2. Someone other (Dapol or RevolutioN) should release Mk1 & Mk2 Coaches in N...
  3. Would prefer Dapol (because their LNER Gresleys), but I doubt we will see them from there.
  4. Other Models for the Wishlist: Gresley GNR/LNER Quadrat Coaches. Why those Sets? -There is a lack of LNER / Eastern Region Suburbans in N -Unique design -They could get released in multiple liveries -One set survived and is fully restored -They had a long timeline of use They were designed by Gresley and were build from 1911 (as Twin Sets) and further from 1921 to 1929 as "Quadrat" Sets of four coaches and were operated until 1966 on the Eastern Region of British Rail(way. Liveries could be: Twin GNR Set Quadrat GNR Set Teak Quadrat LNER Set Teak Quadrat BR Teak Quadrat BR Crimson Quadrat BR Maroon Quadrat BR Lined Maroon Quadrat BR Blue (as what if; I doubt they were repainted in 1965 but who knows).
  5. How do Farish Mk1 in Maroon look in relation to Dapol Gresleys and Collets in Maroon? Your Farish Hawksworth looks like a Dapol Gresley to me?
  6. When I looked on pictures from Dapol or Hattons, I was always thinking that something is odd on the colors... Also the cream on the Collett Coaches looks much different to their Gresleys and Farish Coaches. Also the crimson on pictures of Dapol Maunsells look more like burgundy, red with a tip of violet in it to me.
  7. Hi Folks! is there a large difference of the liveries between Dapol and Farish? I had read that Dapol models are lighter than Farish / Farish Models are darker (too dark?) that Dapol. Can the community confirm this? I'm interested in Modelling the Late 1950s/Early 1960s. How do Dapol Collett and Gresley Coaches look in comparision to Farish Mk1 Coaches in Maroon and Crimson & Cream? How do Locomotives in Green (Steam and DIesel) look in comparision?
  8. There would some liveries for the LMS Twins: 10000 LMS Black 10000 BR Black BR Early Crest 10000 BR Green Late Crest 10001 BR Black LMS Letters 10001 BR Black BR Early Crest 10001 BR Green Late Crest 10001 BR Green Late Crest SYP
  9. You mean the Class 16 Diesels? Would be nice models in N - with some different liveries.
  10. Also interesting would be boggied 30t/50t minerals wagons from the Caledonian Railway. After 1923, they came to the LMS and some survived into the 1950s (wooden) and the 1960s (steel) BR Era(s). They were used for Ore trains in Scotland. Similary wagons existed also in the GWR / WR(BR) and LMS / LMR(BR) Networks for Ore trains in Wales. 1899 St.Rollox wagons 1903 RW&LE wagons (steel body) The first one exist as a Ratio/Peco Kit in 00 but there exist not such for N-Gauge and we have not many wagons with boggies.
  11. I support this and would be interested in those Coaches!
  12. LNER W1 "Hush Hush" Steam Locomotive Very niche. Hornby brought the Loco in OO, but there is no Model in N, no chance that Dapol will bring it based on their A4 and there is surely demand for this Model. The design is very unique and was the only 4-6-4 in Britain. Could be offered in -Original LNER Apple Green -Rebuild LNER Apple Green -Rebuild LNER Gardner Blue -Rebuild LNER Wartime Black -Rebuild BR Brunswick Green
  13. Hello folks, with view on all that nice releases by Revolution in the last years and the knowledge that those Lads are active at the Board and reading our posts about their work here - what would you wish from them? After the announcement of the Class 120, I would wish for a 126 in N. A Steam Loco would be also nice (in N too) - something Scotland related would be okay. Whats with you?
  14. Dapol announcement Video on Youtube
  15. Very nice too bad.. Let's hope it will be not that late than the SR Pacific. I wonder if they plan to work on more GWR focused stuff (maybe a reworked Pairie chasis?) in the future or we could await new LNER Stuff. Suburban Coaches would be nice.
  16. There is a saying "The Queen doesn't tell you what you have to do but she knows what she has to do to take the lead in a conversation."
  17. GBP207 for DCC-ready only seems to be a bit high in comparision to other Dapol Models.
  18. How do you come up with this? As said "I heared"; I never said that I tape what other people say as facts. When my not so good english leaded to a missunderstanding, then I'm sorry. Also Mike's post.
  19. When they take measures from the Class 126, wouldn't it be better to start with this Class and use this then as a basis to bring the 120 later?
  20. I heared many brits are enranged by Truss behaver because she now accompanies the king on his travel trough the UK without to ask and is "greedy" for cameras instead of worrying about government affairs she has now to care for...
  21. I heared they planned initially a steam-hauled furneral Train for her Majesty but this was discarded because of safety concerns after some problems with Train enthusiasts some time ago and now she will be carried by plane to London.
  22. In german Media, Charles was sometimes called "son by profession".
  23. I'm surprised how much I am affected by her passing... I'm not a fan of the monarchy, or even british, I'm german... When her husband Prince Phillip passed away last year, I hoped it doesn't hurt her too much and she could complete the 100... But now she could complete the other 70... It's a bit sureal, it feels like she was always there.. Who of us is old enough to be already alive when she was coronated, those are not many.
  24. Even the Today new announced GWR Mogul has more "content".
  25. Hahahaha Awesome! Announcements for reworked GWR Pairies and new GWR Coaches and I can die happy. Let's hope this doesn't need centuries to get released!
