  1. Other stuff I would like to see in N: Rerun of the Thompson B1 and the GNR 1922 Tender for the Gresley A3.
  2. Can someone tell me on which dates the six BR Regions ended their Steam Operations? As I know the Midland Region was the Final one on August 11nd 1968, but when was the End of Steam on the other Regions? Thanks for Answers
  3. Hi folks, found the following Picture in "British Standards at large" from Book Law Publications on Page 59. The Picture shows 82027 at York. The date is May 1963. In the background on the left side, there is a Coach in a livery I can't recognize. The Coach seems to be a Gresley and has a Running Number which looks like it is from the Scotish Region (which is better visible in the Book than on that Screenshot). There is also a Coat to Arms or Rondel on the side. It doesn't look Maroon to me, the red over the Lining seems to be too bright. What does the community think?
  4. I wonder how realistic and lucrative Gresley Main Line Coaches and Quadart Suburban/Branchline Coaches would be for Dapol. The Mainline Coaches are mostly identical to the existing Coaches and with the Buffet Car, the "first" one already exist. The late build Quadart Coaches had the same Gresley Standard Bogies.
  5. Do we know when those Decoders exactly will get released by Hornby?
  6. Spring Buffers are mostly uncommon on german Loco Models. The only german company I know using Sprung Buffers is Brawa for their H0 Models. I'm also don't get why they should be important features on models.
  7. Some ex. LNER Quadrat Coaches or "Woodhead Classes" 76 & 77 Electrics in N would be nice too.
  8. Do the Dapol Britannias have Buffer beams in a lighter red than the other Dapol Steam Locomotives?
  9. Just tell them you get that Set as Christmas / Birthday / Weddning / Whatever present should work? Do we know if TT120 will be sold permanently by Hornby Exclusive over their own Webstore?
  10. Are the Steam Locos technical capable to get equipped with a smoke generator?
  11. Do the Gresley Pacifics come with a spare axle without flat wheels??
  12. Does the A4 come with a spare axle without flat wheels?
  13. How about Mk1 Coaches in N, since this topic is neglected by Bachman/Farish... Those GWR Wagons for 00 which whre announced in December would be also nice for N.
  14. Hello there, did someone of the community swapped the shells of Dapol (ex) GWR Steam Locos to get different numbers and name plates - to change a GWR Loco into a later WR(BR) condition and vice versa? Is it easy to take those Locos apart for switching parts? BR adapted the Brunswick Green Livery of the GWR for their Passenger Locos, are those Dapol Locos painted in the same green when they come in GWR or WR(BR) conditions? Thanks for the answers
  15. I guess for further future releases, Variants with SYP would be nice.
  16. All new build German Coaches after 1920 beginning with the DRG "Hechtwagen" from 1923 had solid wheels. Pre DRG Prussian "Steel" Coaches had them already from 1911. Pre DRG Bavarian and Wurttembergian Coaches were still build with spoked wheels arround 1920.
  17. It looks like Continental Customer can Order Hornby TT Stuff over Hornby's Arnold Website. I guess you still get it delivered from UK, without an European Stock. https://de.arnoldmodel.com/catalogue/Hornby-tt120
  18. I heared the Siphon boggies would fit. Is this right, did someone this modification?
  19. Those Early BR Wagons are nice. It looks like that N got more that 00 in this announcement. Hope we get Coaches with the next...
  20. Hi folks, did any GWR B Set Coaches existed with the boggie's positions of Dapols N-Gauge B Set Coaches? I can't find any sources with B Set Coaches which had such far inside of the body lying boggies.
  21. Mk1 Coaches in every thinkable livery would be nice...
  22. Expecting 1 or 2 different Models (5MT?) in miltiple liveries and no coaches or wagons.
  23. Three GWR 0-6-0 Dean Goods ended in Germany after the Battle for France in 1940; One was after 1945 renumbered as 53 7607 by the East German Deutsche Reichsbahn and was operated until 1955. One ended after WW2 in West Germany but was ever operated again and go scrapped in the early 50s One was claimed by the Red Army and was given to be operated by the Austrian BBÖ arround 1952. Hornby could sell a TT120 Dean Goods as 53 7607 under the Arnold Brand as a limited run for East German / Continental Customers.
