    I got one from Bure Valley models earlier this week. I hadn't pre-ordered but had been keeping an eye open for them to start arriving and noticed they had a couple in stock. My late father had the original Tri-ang model and so, although it doesn't really fit with my planned layout, I was quite keen to pick one up.     Is the preserved 89001 going to be named Avocet? Can't see from that photo whether it's named.

    You can still pre-order direct from Hornby too by the looks of it.

    This is great news. Never thought anyone would release a RTR Class 89 tbh. Just hope there is sufficient interest for them to proceed.

    I placed my first order with Bure Valley Models late yesterday afternoon (after 4pm) and it arrived, very well packed, today at lunchtime. Got a very good price too. I am sure it won't be the last order I place with them.
