  1. The 2MT and B12 both nearly finished. The 2MT is awaiting a front pony truck making, and, the B12 requires some splasher lining on the opposite side as I have run out now but she now has proper wheels fitted. Both locos have the superb Railtec 3mm scale all in one number transfer sheets doing away with individual numbers having to be applied. These are custom made to your own loco requirements, the 2MT has 8" and the B12 has 10" high sets. Excellent turn around time too. Garry
  2. 3 Tri-ang DMU'S. On the left is the only one Tri-ang made, class 104. The centre is a Craven's unit, 3D print with a complete Tri-ang DMU chassis. On the left is a Met Cam 101, again a 3D print on a complete Tri-ang DMU chassis.
  3. 3 Tri-ang TT DMU'S. On the left is the only one Tri-ang made, class 104. The centre is a Craven's unit, 3D print with a complete Tri-ang DMU chassis. On the left is a Met Cam 101, again a 3D print on a complete Tri-ang DMU chassis.
  4. Here is an unusual EMU I obtained a couple of years ago. I have no idea who made it but it is very unusual. Brass wheels were made to fit the opposite side to the plastic ones for pickup, and, for headcode lights in both ends. The motor is very large, and heavy, and drives one axle only, the wheels being quite large and spoked. It does not run well and needs some looking at. I have no idea if the fronts are metal or plastic but it is different to what I have. As it cost me postage only I cannot complain and might end up fitting another DMU bogie in place.
  5. An all Tri-ang EMU. Modified suburbans and Tri-ang DMU motor bogie.
  6. An all Tri-ang EMU and an Eames diecast 57xx body on a Jinty chassis.
  7. The Tri-ang TT track cleaner as it was initially sold. A coach size box with wagon and box of 6 capsules of cleaner. The instructions were for both 00 and TT versions. This wagon I don't think has ever run as the wheels do not show the tell tale rings, even the tissue paper around it looked unwrapped until now. One capsule may have evaporated or used on another vehicle. Later the wagon was sold without any capsules. The wagon was based on a GWR water tank and not as some think a tar wagon.
  8. My "Tri-ang" B12 have a test run now fitted with a tender. Garry
  9. Here are two of the old Bec SR kits, a G6 and Q1 both mounted on the excellent and reliable Tri-ang Jinty chassis's.
  10. Here are two small SR locos, a G6 and Q1. Both are the old Bec whitemetal kits mounted on Tri-ang Jinty chassis's.
  11. An Atlas models Baltic tank having a test run. She still needs valve gear sorting out and buffer beams replacing but runs fine. The chassis is a Tri-ang Britannia with a second bogie replacing the the rear pony truck.
  12. An Atlas Baltic tank having a test run She still needs valve gear sorting out and buffer beams replacing but runs fine. The chassis is a Tri-ang Britannia with a second bogie replacing the the rear pony truck.
  13. The A5 is a Lincoln Locos 3D printed body and the B1 is scratchbuilt. Both are fitted with Tri-ang chassis's. Garry
  14. Here is one of Lincoln Locos Peak bodies although this was a resin moulded one before they produced the 3D prints. It is powered by two Tri-ang A1A bogies and is a lovely runner. The E2 is an old Bec Kit on a Jinty chassis. You cannot beat these old Tri-ang chassis's for running and reliability. Garry
  15. Here is a B1 entering platform 3 which is a bay. A Peak on freight duty and an E2 with a rare SR square window suburban.
  16. The Castle and 40 from a different viewpoint.
  17. The "Tri-ang" 2MT on test.with a local passenger train.
  18. Here is the Co-Bo hauling the Condor and.the rarer Tintagel Castle with black nameplates.
  19. I have not done anything on the layout for about 18 months so nothing has really changed but here are a couple. One is a BR standard 5 leaving the station tunnel, and the other, as yet un-named Clan Buchanan on the down line.
