Lanc coming on very well. Airfix certainly produce some very detailed mouldings now, compared to the past. Up with Tamya etc imho. The Shack looks great with the props on, just going to have to get one! I was going to hold out and see if a MR3 came along, with the tricycle undercarriage but having seen your pics of it on the ground the MR2 looks like the one to go for.
The problem for me is having enough space to display a large model, my largest one is a DC3 that's been in a drawer for some years.. but I think I can hang one up in a corner of the loft over the layout.
Please keep posting about your aircraft, they are very encouraging with your great paintwork, and very informative about the kits themselves.

Excellent paint job! Is it matt or is there a slight sheen to it? Looks very impressive, really like the way the wings fit.
Looking forward to seeing the props fitted!

Visited this a couple of weeks ago with a friend as part of a St Pancras - Derby - EVR - Matlock - Derby - Sheffield - Manchester - Euston run using cheap advance booked tickets. The EVR is as you say very good and I'd single out the exceptional friendliness of the staff. We travelled in their Derby lightweight dmu. Again as you say, the view from the front is excellent.
Ps we did a lot of the miles from Derby using a cheap ranger ticket.
Thanks for the excellent pics, it brought a great day back!

Terrific! Like the buildings, very atmospheric and the trams - and the cyclist really hits the spot.

Great stuff, T-B-G. I've got a Revell (ex Matchbox) 1/32 Spitfire mk22/24 in the stash. Your build has encouraged me to dig it out. Not as big as 1/24th of course but big enough! I've now washed the sprues (only 5 of them) so no going back...
Wrong make to be a "Hornbys best" I afraid...
Like the use of mole grips.
