Loose lips and ships! How much was it?  I have unfortunately purchased and funded the Cornish Charity. So been robbed anyway without setting foot on the A38! 😭

For the promotion and sales generation Fran, wheres my Accurascale Reward points????? 😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇

It was only £10 cheaper but when I put my points on as well it became even more of a bargain!

On the talk of points, I’ve just saved Accurascale from lost income surely that deserves points too… 😉😉

    Kernow Newsletter Just Landed....

Low stock alert, 92017 nearly sold out already.  No mention of our 'Friends 😇(or foe 👹) at Accurascale having stock.....

I was so close to buying mine with Kernow, that was until all of a sudden I saw Accurascale were selling them at a cheaper price and with the opportunity to gain more points, seems like a no brainier…

Am I seeing the Realtrack 143/144 breaking cover under the EFE range? Did Realtrack get other models made at the time so that they can then do a few liveries of their own on the same production run. Would be an inspired bit of creative working if that was to be the case...

In the EFE Thread, Arran seems to say that they are not RT’s tooling nor have they given permission or license to EFE to use there toolings. So that would appear to be a different tooling…

  4. I would have thought that we will see more 37’s, 47’s and 158’s. The 37’s are likely to be Loadhaul/Mainline or those that will challenge Accurascales already announced models. The 47’s would be nice to see some modern era, Riviera WCRC or ROG or LSL models, I think we will also see RES, Virgin and EWS ones.

the 158 I’m hoping will appear in Northern Blue/Purple, but I can imagine it appearing in white/purple and maybe FGW blue, ATW/TFW or northern Spirit.

I have something against the Hornby 2Es - they are not great. Cheap but poor models.

I just feel like I can’t run them next to the Bachmann ones, when I put my Bachmann DBSO onto the Hornby Mk2’s I can see the difference and I’m sure I would see it with the AS Mk2’s as well (Although there will be less crossover on them thankfully).

  6. All my 5 class 92’s have now arrived, I now must test and run them in!! Absolutely fantastic models and credit to AS for there quick release of the models! Now do I go for the Kernow exclusive too and make it six, hmmm??🤔

  7. I think it would be good to see a spirit of the lakes set, come out? That would look very nice! And I like the idea of the Arriva wales livery, anglia and the blue Pullman colours, they would all fit into my early 2010’s Pathfinder rake! Although some north Britton coaches wouldn’t go a miss there either…

  8. 86259, 86701 and possibly a 86238 to be turned into 86213…

A nice addition and something that I know I’ve been after for a while! Nice to see more AC electrics being made!

  9. I was hoping to get 50014 and 50006 and then re-number them to make the GBRF pairing prior to there paint job into GBRF livery as they did look nice in LL and Blue, but I’m worried those models aren’t  correct for re-numbering does 50006 have a plated headlight? And not sure 50014 will be suitable for 50049 now. Might have to have a look at 50017 and swap the OHLE stickers for moderns.

  10. I’ve had my full delivery now, very happy with them! All arrived intact, had them out to check them over and all is good except one centre bar coupling is missing but I’ll drop the guys a message and I’m sure they will have it sorted in a moment!

cheers guys for the fantastic wagons, looking forward to the rest I’ve got on order/want to order!

Such a shame on the Swallow set, as there are now different issues reported with the 91, the DVT, and the FOs. At ca £630 for a full set I think I will leave it and hope that things are rectified. I am ever hopeful Hornby will do a 91 in 'as new' condition with the small numbers and no name so I can use that with my rake of blue/grey sleepers and the 43 surrogate DVT. The LNER and TfW coaches that I have purchased do seem good though - definitely an improvement on the originals, especially the TSOE, so pleased with them.

Honestly, I think* that you will find that next year there will be a re-run with new livery options. You might see things like EC Grey, Swallow no name (as you want), and maybe even another run of GNER for the Pre-Mallard Mk.4’s. There will probably also be another run of LNER stock to cope with how many modern 91’s they have done. Because it fills the gaps with what’s missing and other stock they have already produced.

*I don’t work for Hornby, so unless they are stupid then it would make sense. However we all know what Hornby can be like…

  12. Looking forward to the OO Gauge ones. Although I’m not sure my bank balance will enjoy it! As someone else has asked, do we know who’s doing the sound chips and or file for them. I’m assuming this is not an urgent thing or might not have been finalised yet due to how long they are away from being finished?

Cheers, looking forward to OO gauge updates!

    Hi everyone,

Thanks for the feedback and duly noted on body removal. We’ll get a “how to” done and stick it on the website next week and ensure all future instruction bookets have them.

    Cheers!

    Fran

What about a printable PDF on the website? Just for those to fold up and put in the box, so they don’t have to go to the website every time they forget? Which I know I will!🤣

  15. Apologies if this has been asked already but are the Rails/DPS exclusives far behind? As I’ve been charged from Rails but I can’t find an email, or when I log into there website there has been no update. In fact it says I haven’t paid the balance but my bank argues otherwise! I didn’t even get a warning that payment was due, like the customers ordering direct from AS seemed to get. Just a wonder as they have been non existent with any communication, I’ve only seen what you guys at AS have put out regarding them. And I’m very much looking forward to getting my hands on them!
