  1. Is it me that still hopes for more liveries from this tooling. Or even more numbers?

Obviously, there’s modern(ish) stuff that hasn’t been done yet, I would think there are a whole load of second release of virgin, BR Blue or IC identities?

Id like to see 87012 in NSE, 87002 in the blue it carried before the sleeper livery. Does anyone think a GBRF or DRS livery would sell? Then there’s 87002 as it is now as well which would sell.

I’m sure this will get rid of those final XC Sliding Door Mk.3’s!

I’ve ordered myself a pair of DCC ready ones, then I can fit V5’s to them. Thought I best do as I was on the train all day!

I’m surprised there’s not a second pack with the other painted pair for the farewell train.

Rather annoying, I signed up put my details in and now I can’t see the video!
really annoys me this why not just stick it straight on the AS page! I don’t want to have to deal with stupid 2nd hand people to look at what I’ve ordered!

The trouble is overcrowding on the WCML. They should build a relief line – oh, wait …

The trouble on most lines is they need to build more lines! 2 should become 4 and 4 become 6 etc… it’s much better than the slight gains we will get from ETCS, only so many trains you can funnel through so many lines!

That and unfortunately we don’t have any 125+mph capable locos, probably because we don’t make Co-Co locos anymore. Grand Union will use Units temporarily diesel but then Electric/Bi-mode.

Anyway back to these Revolutionary Class 93 models, I’ve heard they run on electric, battery and what’s that other one again…

  5. I have a set of resprayed Hornby/Bachmann Mk.1’s and some Bachmann Mk.2f’s, it’s going to be interesting to see how those I’ve already got line up to these AS Mk.2b’s and c’s.

I have faith in both AS and the resprays, I do think the rakes aren’t supposed to quite match and that a tolerance is allowed for a) colour and b) weathering. The WCRC rakes haven’t ever really matched but seen them be in various states. And that’s from having spent some time around them, the amount of soot and dirt that comes off a Steam engine does change how a coach would look as seen in photos above. I’m still very much looking forward to getting my hands on my WCRC ones!

One with ‘this train is not scheduled to stop here’ ect would have probs been a decent one for the more modern locos perhaps?

Thats pretty much what the other station announcement function (F29) says.

No you can't pick and choose announcements. Tbh they are only on there because they could be. Me and Alex didn't actually think that it was even necessary to have any station announcements at all on a freight loco but we appear to have misjudged that one.

Not to worry Function 29 does fine to keep those pesky passengers away from the edge of the platform and speaking from experience the horn works as well! 🤣

Enough BBR, this isn’t your private thread.

If you want to carry on, please direct message them or something

Well said!! And well done to @AY Mod! That’s the 2nd/3rd thread I’ve seen them derail with an endless DCC, anti ESU rant!

Do it privately and be polite! I feel bad for the folks at Cavalex who’ve had to deal with him!

I’ve taken a punt on the Porterbrook 47 from Key Publishing, always liked the livery. Will be my first Heljan 47. Hoping it blends nicely with the Bachmann ones.

I’m yet to take a punt on one yet, however there are a few of the modern image ones I like but I’ll have to see how they fit in with other models. There just appears to be something off about the Heljan model I can’t quite put my finger on it.

    Well you spoke Will so…

The particular Colas variant I would want is 051 Survival with the “Romanian” style cab front, and then one of the UKRL Railfreight Grey ones (with the UKRL badging).

I think a UKRL one in grey (probably 56104 as 081/098 have been done as GBRf locos) would be very nice! I’d also like to throw a DCR green one (56303) or 56103 in unbranded Fertis livery into the ring…      a Fastline 56301 would be good but I think this is a no go due to the cabs.

Of course, I’m a modern image but I’ve been told by friends they would like Dutch or Transrail livery’s if you model further back in time.

Today's is the announcement about the announcement to alert Mr Potato Head to get in touch with his contacts to see if he can get a scoop.

But they’ve told every employee about a different project so they find out who’s spilling the beans to Mr. Potato Head🕵️

It’s a good job that they have so many projects on the go they can give each employee one project…

Even Barbra the cleaner knows one!

I’m not sure there is. It may all be a ruse to catch Mr.Potato Head or whatever his name is on Facebook! I’m happy to be proven wrong of course!

It would be interesting if it was announced at MRS, but not put online to see if they can catch out Mr. Potato Head, unless they are at MRS also 👀

Can't imagine these will be cheap - and normally don't pre-order but on the back of their other recent models, happy to do so on this occasion.

    The website does actually say,

“The models are likely to be priced in line with our other 00 unit models at around £300 for the 3-car Class 320 and £350 for the 4-car Class 321, with DCC Sound etc around £100 extra, and we will be opening the pre-order book shortly to enable customers to reserve their models.”
