I did pay with a deposit to and full payment wasn’t made until June this year so currently just assuming that’s the date it’s put my order down from

Am I right in assuming that it’s date order from full payment? So those who payed a deposit and then the rest at a later date (with the newer partial.ly system) are lower on the list etc? Just trying to work out if I should be worrying or not yet 😅

Has anyone else had issues with using a Zimo MN180N18 Decoder with one of these? Tried fitting one yesterday and the directional lighting works as expected (off F1/2 But only what F0 is active) as does the locos motor performance. However the interior lighting was non-controllable and instead was constantly flickering on and off very quickly. Not sure if it’s a faulty decoder, faulty model, or just an incompatibility between the pair. I did try fitting the stay alive after testing and discovering this to try and solve the issue, but broke the decoder due to the wires being too big 🤦🏼‍♂️ so there’s another one on the way to replace it. the model was fitted with a gauge-master decoder before and the interior lights were constantly off, so I’m thinking this is maybe just a faulty decoder? Any help is much appreciated :) EDIT: turns out it was just me being silly and not reading the instructions properly. Was a simple fix but swapping CV 124 to a value of 128 to swap the functions 3 & 4 from logic level to switch

Was there ever an update for the refurbished 37 sound profiles regarding the cold starts? I remember the accurascale guys saying they were going to record one and if the recording was up-to standard they would update the chips to include it, but can’t remember seeing anything since. Just asking to know if I should buy a sound chip now ready for 37 402 or wait for the update, as I’d quite like to have cold starts available on it without the hassle of sending the chip back for updates etc.

Received pack 1 of the TPE sets today, same modifications as pack 2 were required and were covered in a previous post, but was well worth the effort once the pair was running! unable so show any videos here and I’ve not yet got a YouTube channel running, however here’s one shot of the pair! More may follow at a later date. 12804 from pack 2 (with 68 034 at the rear) powers up the incline to the upper heritage line station working a summer special, while 12801 from pack 1 coasts along the mains (with 68 027 ‘splendid at the head off scene) on a regular service. I’m yet to fit the destination boards, and the coaches will shortly be going back in their boxes to protect them while the layout undergoes some upgrades, but couldn’t resist getting them out and having a play around

Looking at how the sleepers sold, and the existing hype around them, plus the absurd price they fetch elsewhere. It was pretty much a given that they would sell out, regardless of the limit or not. add that with accurascale’s ‘models made for modellers by modellers’ attitude, a limit of the remaining stock makes sense, and the more individual people who have the coaches, the more potential for good press and reviews for accurascale.

Pack 1 picked up!, 30 seconds of panic when Apple Pay wouldn’t work but pay pal came to the rescue. 10 minutes later and there all gone again!

Ahh great! Thanks for the clarification. Almost went to go buy something for the car instead but I’ll hold off for after tonight now to see if I’m lucky!

Is that meaning you can only have one of each pack from the batch, or one pack total? e.g, if someone has pack 2, can they still try order pack 1? Or not? and does it include pre-ordered packs?

That would be even worse!, definitely can see a second run. It too far away with how fast these have sold now. Hopefully one without the back to back issue too. Just glad I luckily did manage to pre-order the one set so didn’t miss out too much. Definitely want a second to get those all important crossover shots!

I tried that, but the one I’ve got wouldn’t fit with the pick up wheel in the middle of the week, and trying to line up one said and push just bent the axel

I’ve also had issues with the back to backs when running forward thought a standard Hornby set track point on the diverging line. Tried sorting the back to backs but the axel is so small it’s incredibly difficult to do without bending the axel. And it was almost impossible to move the wheel just a small amount. Easiest way i found was to take the axel cover off first then try move the wheel. Despite being as gentle as I could tho all the wheels I had to adjust have ended up a bit tight on the bogie when placed but in, but the set now runs thought the points without issue. Did loose one axel cover and one axel bearing in the process so I’ll have to see if I can get some spare ones from the support team!

I have got an alert set up! Just wanna try do what I can to not miss out. Although I’m sure they’ll be another run at some point

Not a problem at all!, would rather everyone who ordered them ahead of time get theirs first! It’s my fault I’m having to wait for the resale as I could’ve pre-ordered pack one too but chose not to. Besides that, the closer to Friday (payday) the better for me 😂 it’s actually rather nice for a manufacturer to tell us roughly when products are going back on sale ahead of time, not used to that, so there’s definitely nothing to apologise for!

Does this mean the remaining stock won’t be on sale today and will be later in the week?, or are you guys still looking at releasing the rest today? Would love to pick up pack 1 soo just curious if I need to be checking my emails every 5 minutes 😅

Just had confirmation my TPE pack (2) has arrived. Looking forward to getting them out of the box especially after seeing them at both GETS and Warley last year. Will make a final decision once I’ve got mine out of the box when I get home from work but going off everything I’ve seen so far, I’ll be stalking my emails next week to be able to jump on the release of whatever is left of pack 1!

The first of my 2 tfw mk4 sets was completed the other day with the arrival of the long awaited kitchen coach. The second set is currently held at collets models for their kitchen coaches to arrive, before being sent out along with the tfw 67. Overall quite happy with the DVT and coaches, nothing majorly wrong to point out that I’ve noticed yet anyways. Definitely look the part running on the layout

I received my 3 packs (6 wagons) of the open JSA variant a few weeks ago, and I’m certainly glad I went for them!, there were a few small issues with a buffer and a bogie falling off the one waggon (wouldn’t be surprised if that was due to DPD’s shipping), but other than that I can’t fault them! Once the securing bars are in they really look the part!
