I was reading that the first 68 built at Vulcan all had riveted roofs but why did some of those have a single riveted roof (37051 for example) and others had a double riveted roof (37026 for example)? Was the double riveted roof the original design? If so, why did it alter on some of them to the intermediate single riveted roof?

Thanks very much I've been watching some youtube reviews of containers (I found a German channel that has English subtitiles on a few) I like long-distance container trains the best (from Netherlands to Italy) so am thinking of getting 2 BLS loks, 2 SBB loks and 2 TXL lokomotives and have a container terminal at one side of my layout that can be set in Netherlands with one other side of the layout set in the Swiss/Italy border and the other on the Austrian/Italy border. Then getting lots of colourful containers, tanktainers and semi-trailers and running a roughly sterotypical train. Also to buy a track traverser as I love them By large radius curves, do you mean radius 3 and 4 curves? Thanks.

How would everyone feel about a track traverser? I would love one of these! Heljan made one 10 years ago but it didn't work very well and a new one could be used on modern, older and European layouts

Thanks Craig. Are the Roco 3000e easy to assemble? I was watching a youtube video of all the detailing parts and was surprised by how many there were. Also can individually bought containers be attached to different bought wagons. I think some can clip on? Thanks again.

Are they so popular or don't they make many of each model? What are considered the best quality makers of H0 containers, trailers and wagons please? Is there much difference in terms of quality of a container? Thanks

wow, 11 years I have been looking at Plattling webcam! My old username is motorcycle (couldn't remember my old password) and it's a shame that none of my screenshots from those years have survived. You really need to back up all your important digital stuff in more than one place! It would be so great if Olten webcam would work again though. Think I will go on holiday to Olten in the summer and watch trains there

Could 37714 be renumbered to any other 37/5 or 37/7? Would be quite easy if 714 doesn't come with fitted with the nameplate and depot plaque.

You can do it Jim! I always used to enjoy seeing your photos when you worked at Colas (the photo of you and your colleagues working a 56 in the snow in the Buxton area was my favourite!) and I wish good luck to you. You will inspire a lot of other people to get healthier as well (me included)
