  1. Thank you! You will Nene much more at shows than me for this year, and credit to her for thinking of the socks. It is a good partnership, I know about the about the trains and she knows the best way to use the artwork!
  2. Thank you, and nice to see you! I think that my favourite interactions are with customers who buy something as a gift, and although they might be certain that they love it, they are sceptical that the recipient will like it as much as they do, and then we get the feedback that the recipient did indeed love it too! It happens a lot with the cushion covers!
  3. I will be attending with my On The Rails stand and bringing with me some new items and show exclusives such as a locomotive birthday garland and wooden pin badges of locos, aircraft and cars. I have drawn some of the stock operating on the WCML for a new t-shirt too and I am hoping that they will be ready in time. Thank you as always to anyone who has supported our small venture before and helped us grow to such a level where we are able to attend events of this size, including A.P. in March and then again with Warners for the new November show.
  4. @BluenGreyAnorak There is a cab at one end because they could only afford one cab when it was built. It can go forwards and backwards, or at least it used to. I know what you mean though, the lighting clusters don't look like they're set up for bi-directional running.
  5. I think images D and E might be different vehicles and A, B (rear view) and C are all No. 7.
  6. No 7 was shown in 3 photos on this piece of material from PPM. Are the two ends of the vehicle different? The rear looks like one window?
  7. As Rapido are in Kent, did the team use the loco preserved at Kemsley Down as a source of measurements, No 1 of 1924? Asking as a former SKLR volunteer 😁 and a big fan of the other fireless loco there, 2ft 6" "Unique" of 1924. Pic credit: wikipedia
  8. It's Parry People Movers Car 7, the demonstrator built in 1993. It has run in Brighton's theatreland, Weymouth, and the Welsh Highland Railway, among other places. A special form of hybrid, incorporating a flywheel, - like a spinning top, it carries a van-load of people with only a small engine or motor. This is opposed to a conventional train or bus that needs a large engine for the same capacity. It is the forerunner of Britain's most reliable rail service, the Stourbridge Shuttle.
  9. There is a Facebook Group for Friends of Tram Car No 7 Although there is nothing on there right now, it might be updated as it has been set up recently. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1193916451283232
  10. I look forward to attending with On The Rails - it will be the first time we have attended a Model Railway Exhibition and our first event of 2023! https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/NenesDesignStudio
  11. I am looking forward to this event and I will be bringing my 'On The Rails' stall with handmade fabrics, our popular train socks, ceramics, mugs and more! We have been to the Spa Valley Rly a lot in the past month and the volunteers at Groombridge and TWW are extremely helpful, and we are very grateful for their hospitality.
