  8. Not exclusive to Dapol but endemic throughout the model rail industry at the moment - check out the whingeing on some of the US model rail sites.
  9. Some hilarious stuff on here. Obviously we have one or two candidates for Dave's job making their public pitch for the position. They do seem to have ALL the answers.

  21. QUBE do indeed own IRA. QUBE's colours however are yellow and silver/grey
  22. Zig Zag is still closed. Volunteers are still working towards getting it re-opened.
  23. Some video (not mine) taken yesterday. In preparation for the National Railway Museum's (Port Adelaide) "Railway Yard Sale" event, a large shunt had to take place on the 15th of June 2013. The shunt involved the clearing a road of Narrow Gauge (3'6") items, using standard gauge (4' 8 1/2") diesel loco, English-Electric powered no.515. The track is actually triple gauge. One of the shunt movements involved coupling together Ex-South Australian Railways (SAR) Garratt 402 with Ex-SAR T Class 253, a regular occurrence with the SAR and yet, has never been done at the museum.
  24. I thought it was plainly obvious that they had from the press release linked earlier in the thread.
