  1. And just in case anyone is wondering about my clue; "little colour" = very pale (Perivale)
  2. Ok - as nobody else has posted, it's NE of St Helens Junction station and was featured in this thread on 13/08/2011: Spooner thinks this duck has little colour!:
  3. I use www.fonant.com/osmap.html To post a new square: zoom-in in fonant to 1:25000, right click on your chosen square and then save as a ".png" file (which should only contain ONE square). Then attach the file to your post. To post the previous answer: zoom-in to 1:50000, right click on the square and save as above. Note this will save a block of FOUR squares but the position in this block of the one you wanted does vary (don't know why). Mike
  4. Well as nobody else has found it, Sevenoaks: Next up: The next square is the end of the line but contains an easy to find label. As a clue, this fits with my love of Euclidean geometry!
  5. To help you find this junction, look for a County with a small stream!
  6. Carlisle Kingmoor Depot: Go South from this junction and you might get robbed, go East and you could have a testing time:
  7. Ewell be pleased that this duck has been found But can you find this dancer?
  8. You don't need to go to the seaside to find the warmth - Doncaster was the warmest place in W. Europe yesterday! Anyway, your square is near Torbay: Which town is this dancer in??
  9. I thought it was worth posting to see if you were awake!
  10. We're near Begelly in Pembrokeshire: The line was a tramway (4' gauge) built to take coal from the local mines (at Begelly & Thomas Chapel) to Saundersfoot Wharf. Here's the next square - this dancer is a bit late to catch a train, the colliery served by this line closed in 1982
  11. Diss might be the place you're looking for: This one shouldn't be too hard to find - there are only 92 possibilities!
  12. Did anyone have Duck for Xmas?? Anyway, as we're back up and running....... The place you're looking for might feature some expensive pork!!
  13. Well, they need to get rid of those pork pies!! It's Melton Mowbray Will this be the Xmas No 1 square??
  14. HI Ceptic Thanks for sharing these pictures with us - this layout looks great! Is the layout open to RMwebbers and if so, where is it located (Bournemouth area??) Mike
  15. OK, time for some clues.... The station to the North has featured in this thread before To the South of our square, the railway parallels a Roman Road
  16. Not like you Graham to leave a clue like the Northing right from the start: Shrewsbury Next up:
  17. At last....the elusive suburb is Sutton Coldfield: Will be back later with a new square.
  18. Just found it before reading your clue - it's Wellington nr Telford: How close can you get to this dancer?
  19. It's a long wait for the next exhibition at Loughborough: Where is this "riverdancer"?
  20. Whitton Junction between Hounslow, Feltham & Twickenham: Back to the dancer (though there ARE more ducks to come):
  21. We're dancing at Alderman Callow School in Coventry: Meanwhile, this duck might be on a "gap year" near a cross-country line:
  22. Perhaps they could fly off with mine to the great one square in the sky! PS Congrats on finding Cramlington (near Plessey Moor transmitter and an anagram of cling t Norma)
  23. It seems help is needed to find our dancer BUT all the adjacent squares have "give away" names in them. So, the level crossing is close to milepost 9 but about 277 miles from our London terminus. If I told you where the 9 miles was measured from it would be too easy!
