  1. This is going back a long way but I think that POT 80 was one of the examples in my "I-Spy" car registrations book and (in the sixties) was credited to a Scottish greengrocer.
  2. Well, I didn't expect this one to last so long...... At the nearest station you might cling t' Norma!
  3. Another clue - we're looking for a mainline location (with excellent TV reception?)
  4. This is an interesting area of the map as the square to the South East has a duck and that to the North East has another dancer, though the railway goes through neither.
  5. Have just read your clues - your girls are dancing in Maidenhead: Duck or dancer?? Ah well, the coin came down tails:
  6. I can't find anywhere called "handbags"!!
  7. Shades of "Open All Hours"... It's Arkwright Town twixt Bolsover & Chesterfield: Just to prove that I'm not obsessed with ducks!!
  8. NOW I understand the clue!! This could be a porcelain duck!
  9. The current "dancing man" is making his moves just to the East of Bolton station: Perhaps one of you can find this drake, or his dancing partner:
  10. I think that the "dancing man" theme is an afront to those of us who have a flock of ducks stored on our computers!
  11. Back to the current duck which is SE of Hawkley, between Wigan & St Helens: Our next duck appears to have reached the end of the line:
  12. This line IS shown as a freight line in my atlas - I just managed to miss the duck when I checked the map!
  13. I admit defeat - have been through every freight only line in my rail atlas and can't find this duck!
  14. Your duck has just checked-in at the Holiday Inn on the SW outskirts of Norwich: This one might be too easy, as the duck has taken up residence near a very appropriately named village:
  15. Oh yes - it WAS a dreary song!! Your duck nearly got locked up in Durham: This (part) duck might be on parade:
  16. Time for another clue as you're obviously looking for that Hymek in vain: Nearby you will find a feature whose name suggests the resting place of 72010
  17. Warnham Mill Pond to the NW of Horsham: This duck is by a mainline - depending on your age, you might have seen a Hymek on this route but that clue may send you in the wrong direction:
  18. Yes it probably was a bit of a give away - to be honest I was so busy checking that there were no names or road numbers in the square that I missed that clue!
  19. Thanks for the clue - it helped me to realise that I recognise this one; its just to the East of Goole Bridge over the River Ouse. For a bit of extra info, the duck is on Saltmarshe Delph! This next duck is the last one on this line:
  20. I lived in the square to the North for 8 years and didn't recognise it!!
  21. Four o'clock in the morning - that's obsession!!
  22. Which came first - the square or the clue?? It's Seasalter near Whitstable: There really is a duck here but it's in the trees one square to the East:
