Excellent!B1s are faves of mine. In fact I once decided if I had to run a railway, excluding A type locs, I'd do with a B1, a K3 and a J39. I got Class 45 diesel I wanted as a Christmas gift - so powerful! Anyway, thanks for the add. Have a good holiday :-) Tony.

You too! :-) I trust there are a few model-related bits and pieces under the tree. Oh, and if the dog is big enough train it to pull a sledge, with you on it of course,

Mr Gilbert's is awesome, but I do like the clifftop run along the sands and over the viaduct on yours. My layout will be all filthily urban and lacks that. I must get something pastoral in somewhere. Its all trade-offs... Anyway, all the best to you and yours. Have a good one!

You've got some damn good favourites too! As someone with a weakness for very large warehouses (Fourth Banks, Newcastle was my local as a kid)"Mr Gilbert's" layout is stunning - as is The Pines, etc. BTW, "thanks for the add" lol -is that what they say?! ;-)
Tony.

Thanks for that Its not so much the modelling - I've dabbled over the years - but the website. I think I'm becoming technophobic! lol All the blogs and complicated forum threads. It seems so many people seem to know each other, from shows, maybe. When you posted your first pix I thought it was all new - 'hope for me yet!... Anyway, got to dig meself out and do Xmas stuff....

You've cheered me up no end. Assuming that was an outside extension I'm seeing I hope it wasn't too cold! I should tell you I'm barely PC-savvy as they say and I haven't a clue how this website works other than everyone is much more experienced than me! ;-)

I've posted with your pictures I'd like to see how you've anglicised the station (Faller?) building. Seasonals!
