  6. Modeller blues, hits us all at some stage buddy! Keep at it but make sure you have a few times set aside to just run trains around to unwind. I find that seeing them run around for half hour over a cuppa can get me motavated ready for another few hours of tedium ballesting or cleaning etc. Chin up bud Mojo be back soon! Matt

Go on Mr B, you succumbed to the Blue Pullman, even I'm tempted by a Western now!
  8. Hi, I would recommend fitting the 3rd rail after all the painting and ballesting of the main lines has been completed. You will end up finding the 3rd rail gets in the way and knocked a fair bit otherwise, those insulators don't like too much impact! Like the line plan, looking forward to seeing how you get on. Matt
  9. Good day at the Calne show catching up with lots of old mates. Then a fun fettling the layout with Mr B, good weekend all round!

  10. Track laid, droppers fitted and soldered. Few days at work then back to fit point motors and fit everything to the busbar!

  11. After 6 months of planning, saving and hording I finally have laid the track for my layout! Just the fun of electrics now.

  21. Hi C6T, Can't answer your question on the placing of the roundels, but if they do happen to end up over the vanes then there is a great product on the market called microset and microsol. Makes settling decals over tricky places a dream. Sometimes takes a few goes, but once they are down it can look like they have been sprayed on! Was introduced to it by a mate few years ago and couldn't work without it now. Hope this helps Matt
  22. Seen some of his stuff before, always makes me smile. Who would have thought a one line joke on one of his skits would have ended up in a 2 min long film! Thanks for sharing!
  23. What a great Birthday pressy from the Mrs (with a bit of guidance from Mr B) A BR green class 15!! Thank you hunny!!

  24. Popped into Cheltenham Model center today for a box of code 75 flexi track and came out with that and Thunderer in Laira Blue, mmmmmmmm nice!

      And a Silver bullett.Cheers mate

  25. Hi sorry for the late reply. Pete is correct, tamiya have re-issued the Quad but unfortunatly it is still the original tooling. Bit clunky in places with some ejector pin marks to clean up, but still makes up into a very nice model! Its somewhere on my to do pile, but as its a British piece or armour, and my cabinate is lacking in some British steel, it may make its way near the top soon! Best of luck with the build Rugd1022, just don't forget to put some pic's on this thread once its completed! Cheers Matt
