  1. See even at our age every day is a school day it’s a great hobby as we can all learn from each other I can remember years ago some of my point work looked as if a sink hole had appeared when I used to position the Peco motors beneath the base board
  2. Andy the new build is looking fantastic love the new addition to accommodate the loops as you say The Bodgit strikes again but this is why we all admire your modelling is just relentless . I think your little diversion into the darkside has done you the world of good and now you can really go to town on this new layout . Love the videos and your sharing this new build is excellent keep up the momentum it’ll be finished by page 200 !!!!!!! Now I’m sure you could get a 7mm shunting plank above this layout if you really try hard…….
  3. Nice purchase sure you will keep it well employed
  4. Where’s the groan button
  5. Very true …..one thing is for certain he won’t do it himself
  6. Every good layout has one of those ……now where did I leave those pliers last time I used them
  7. What with LJ on the signal gantry I’d be worried about ‘cable theft’ he’s probably eyeing up an easy few quid via the scrap man ……got to keep your eye on that guy
  8. Just read through the thread and throughly enjoyed it and the building construction is most impressive. What materials have you used for the backscene looks like some type of plastic board will continue to follow your progress Cheers
  9. Agree there George absolutely spot on all very impressive as normal .......though I did not from the pictures Andy your still using a 0 gauge hammer so the Darkside hasn't totally gone away
  10. Must have been thinking of those Bubble Cars he loves to hate
  11. oppps I called him a Boggit did mean Bodgit
  12. Very informative video Andy just goes to show your not just a 'Boggit' but 'A Super Boggit' excellent . It's video's like this that will really help people in their modelling journey and tackling a curved platform is very informative as it's one of the of harder platform types to tackle. I like the way you have started the track laying process in that area of the layout as once that curve has been sorted the rest of the track formation will flow very naturally ..... keep up the good work mate following with interest
  13. Oh no don’t start saying things like that the poor guy won’t sleep now tonight ….let’s hope his in the POD sorting the viaduct and goes to bed without looking on here …….
  14. It’s the Darkside Andy and we thought you’d escaped
  15. Arr but Andy those are the ones that you admit too…….what about all the others
  16. From this photograph it looks like LJ is now living in ‘Last of the Summer Wine ‘ country be interesting if he meets up with some of those characters
  17. We will never know how many layouts Andy has built ‘under cover’ that would fall into built and sold and never photographed as he probably doesn’t know himself. I’m fairly sure he builds on every night under the duvet in dreamland
  18. Like the shelves George the metal work looks very sturdy where did you purchase it from ……must be a fair amount of weight being supported there but knowing your work-ship it will be up to scratch
  19. Congratulations on your purchase hours of fun await on the Darkside will follow the layouts progress
  20. Well blow me only four days in and six pages already …….. this a crazy
