  3. Have you considered contacting Hornby? I found them very helpful for something similar and they emailed me a scan of instructions for an obsolete item. Regards.
  4. Hi Chris Just picked up on your Brewhouse project. Did you use this as your prototype?
  5. With such tight curves you will most likely have problems with the standard length shank No5. You should consider using No46 couplers that have a long shank and so allow more sideways movement in the coupler. These are also more suitable for long wheelbase 4 wheel stock and modern stock that has longer buffer shanks. Regards
  6. Hi Dave The method of linking Fulgurex motors in their instructions is a nightmare! Here is a much better and easier to install method: The bell crank (a servo horn will work equally well) has an operating wire projecting up through the baseboard to the turnout tie bar. Use the brass wire from the Fulgurex. Fit this first. The omega loop is made from some stripped electric cable. Hook up to the Fulgurex (set at one end of travel) and fix the Fulgurex in place (2 self tapping screws will do). Very easy to adjust in situ - just squeeze or stretch the omega loop. Regards Bill Campbell.
  7. Hi Toby There has been some discussion of Timber Ps on the Scottish Modellers Yahoo group. You can find a photo at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ScottishModellers/photos/album/60884653/pic/1942847469/view?picmode=&mode=tn&order=ordinal&start=1&count=20&dir=asc Phil Holman of DEMU is/was involved in a project to produce something in etched brass but I do not know whether this came to fruition. You should be able to make enquiries through the above Yahoo group. Phil is likely to be on the DEMU stand at Model Rail Scotland this coming weekend. Regards

  10. Hi Andy Any chance of some pictures of the motor mounting and drive arrangements for the Sentinel? I am sure prospective purchasers (like me) would be very interested. Thanks.
